Well done. Given how hard they can be to hook a couple of fish isn't too shabby. Even with barbed hooks they are masters at shedding the hook.

They sure are. Funnily enough I hit the smallest of bites at long range but missed what seemed unmissable bites under the rod tip. Will be trying spinning for Thin-lips soon with my BFS gear.

Took me back a few years as used to live near there. Used to catch mullet 30 years ago. Now trout fisherman living in Australia. I used to use much lighter gear. Small quill float with say one split shot as fish were often shy. Great video.

Glad it you enjoyed it and it brought back some fond memories. I hope to do a video using quill floats at some point.

Nice mullet Adrian, I know where you are. Do you need a permit to fish this part of the river?
    Say hello to Robin.

No your fine as there are no coarse fish and it’s tidal mate. You will have to tag along with us one day.

@@banderoshenryantonybader4306 sorry buddy. If you don’t want to feed the fish try making some sandwiches with some tinned Tuna and keeping the sunflower oil to dip your bait in. It will attract them without the feed. It doesn’t matter what gear you use. If it works for you it does. Fancy gear doesn’t catch fish but watercraft does. Best of luck. Let me know how you get on.
