I love your videos of old Walsall, I was born in Wednesbury, but lived in Palfrey so remember all of this so very well. We would holiday in Weymouth and catch the Don Everall coach in Station street after waiting for my dad to come back from getting a paper and sweets for the journey from the railway station. Pleck & Palfrey park were the local hang outs as well as the canal, in the days when you went with a net and jam jar to catch stickle back fish that were clearly visible. Great times. Thanks for making me feel very old.
