The dogo needs a call command because it has a habit of running off to kill machines miles away from the ones you're attacking and it sometimes also just stands on the spot and doesn't follow you. A call command to get it to stop what its doing and return to you would be very helpful. Have you had you're dogo knock you flying yet lol ?.

We already have the becken and point emotes maybe we could use those to direct our dogs

When he shockwave attacks near me in bunkers I fly in between floors haha
Took the doggo out for walk earlier and it started shooting at another doggo so far into the distance I could barely see it. It being attacked by a harvester made no difference. It just stood still and kept shooting at that doggo. So it's not exactly the smartest companion :-D Being able to mark a target the doggo will focus on would've been awesome.
You can save repair kits by picking up your dog before the fight and binding it to a slot. Everytime the reaper goes and does a deadly fart you can simply pick up the dog and place it back down after the blast.
Honestly, I'm fine with the dog targeting Firebirds. Means someone's dealing with it for me while I obliterate everything else on the ground.
Firebirds vs Doggy fight usually last for a matter of seconds even with maxed regular (non-dlc) armor. So its basically minus either Repair kit or Armor crafting materials (which also restores health to max).
I wish you could upgrade the dogs weapons
That's something we can ask for!
Maybe also special upgrades for available weapons like effects like schock or gass bomb rocket but i would also like some other options of weapons maybe like piercing based shredder based guns maybe also a special skills slot to add like fire tagging or it has a chance to shoot a hack dart under massive enemies horde or something or just support combat enemy health display
I was just killing level 1 rivals to get the points because it doesn't matter what level a rival is you still get 50 points per kill. You get enough points to max our the dogo really quickly just wasting prototype machine rivals at level 1.

The devs still have some islands to unlock so maybe they'll add new enemies along with those too.
And when they release bigger enemies, everyone screaming after bigger weapon.

how do you keep the dog from dying during battle? i have enough armor and i’ve tried putting it into its inventory and also having it in mine and it still dies and i have to take it back to the companion station to put an armor i’ve already crafted into it.
Is the special Armor for the companion added on top of the base Armor , can you add all types of Armor on the dog at once , also make a video on the new meta for gz , with the added doggo spotting damage
From my own experience, no. You can only equip them with one type at a time.

I am finding that my doggo dies stupid fast from everything, I have the 3rd level of armor on it and it might as well have none. Seems a bit more of a hassle to use then to just go kill stuff myself, lol.
Yea, i know what you mean. I have the level 4 armour and he still takes loads of damage unless i play on adventure. The armour should scale with the difficulty, it needs a buff that's for sure.
The armor generally sucks, the russian machines in particular kills the companion instantly. With 4 star armor it SHOULD be pretty tough, but its still too weak to use in combat. Unfortunatley this update is everything the devs said it wouldn't be... Underwhelming, full of bugs and and feels like a minimum effort to grab our money for another DLC, once again...

The ammo / med kit nerf needs to be sorted - I lost like 4000 shock ammo in an update had a base completely wiped off the map and to rebuild that ammo is gunna be impossible
Are you on PC? I always make a backup of my savegames. If not, is there a way to make backups of your console's savegames?
@@melodyseverything6999 series x dude - i can play with pc players but no once its lost its gone 😒, lost 4000 shock, over 30000 in 7.72 and i had 4 sniper towers - loads of 50 cal as well - storing it in the towers - trying to rebuild the base now but the ammo making sucks now they need to sort that out

What about the companions weapons? I thought that the rpg would be awsome to get one or 2 back shots into those large machines to get massive free damage
Hi Tene. I don't understand how you keep repairing the doggo! When I go to him, the "Repair Companion" option is greyed out, even though I have repair kits. Unless it's a special repair kit? Is it the same one as the moped? At the moment. to repair him I have to pick him up, take him to a Companion Station, repair his armour and he comes out healed up - but in action, nothing.
Hey robin thats likely because you have armor on your doggo still, you cant repair armor just the main health of your companion :)
@@TenebrisInfinite Well, perhaps, but he was totally knocked out fighting a million Hunters and I couldn't revive him - had to pick him up and take him home! Do the repair kits have to be in your inventory, or his?
I’m getting same issue (PS4). Repair is greyed out. Have tried repair kits in both of the inventory’s. Having to pick up my little friend and retire back to a station
@@designersaur Perhaps it'll change as we go. I was able to repair him once, but then not again. Little glitch I imagine...

What if you go tryhard and pick the doggo up when the thermobaric launches? Saves the repairs :)
So noticed not to go out on long docks or piers with your companion out.they will drown themselves
Dont spawn them in closed spaces it might fall through the map
How do you have so much shock ammo?! Shock ammo requires uranium and I am far from having enough to craft so much shock ammo
Ammoboxes spawn whatever ammo you have equipped when you open them. Easy to farm if you know where to find them.

Ammo boxes as the ones you find in the world or the ones you can craft tho
I have a massive stockpile of shock ammo from when it was cheap to craft, i also have a massive stockpile of uranium though too from years of play! :D (p.s ammo boxes do not spawn experimental ammo, so you cannot use those sadly)

My doggo gets me killed.. i took him out to kill a tank en de stupid dogg shot at all the tanks and harversters in his view range.. within a minute i had 3 tanks en 2 harversters en a sjitload of runners and hunters surrounding me.. i dont have the good exp weapons yet so i picked up doggo and left. so i think doggo needs some adjustment.. or atleast a command wheel like : guard/stay/follow/attack.. something like that..

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, even on adventure those shield generators take 30 or 40 hits before being destroyed, to defeat a reaper takes me maybe 30 minutes with it staying in 'fizzy' shield mode for 5 minutes at a time, and it'll make generate 40 runners along the way. I have stopped even attempting to defeat the repairs, it's just not worth it.
Shoot him at max distance and run. He follows you. Every time he stops do the same. End up at the Ringfort. He sits down the bottom and you can take all the time you need and he can't lay a glove on you. The other way is to make him follow you to a river - cross the bridge (which he won't do) and hit him from 300 metres from the other side of the river. Always make him come to you - never go to him. Fight on your ground, not his.
Were you using 6-crown (gold) experimental weapons with experimental shock ammo and wearing grade 5 upgraded clothing ... like Tenebris was?
@@Gazbeard No! I've never understood the clothing tree. I think I have bullet-proof pants. It doesn't matter what you've got in terms of weapons, as long as you have enough ammunition. From your ground, where he can't rocket you, or thermo-blitz you, you just take as long as it takes. On his ground you need all that stuff and you still die. But the key is to fight him on your ground, not his.

The game has become unplayable on PS5. Constant crashing, especially with the dog out. Weird graphical glitches, pop-ins and shadows as well. Bought the DLC and wasn't able to use any of it. The voice boxes also only work half the time if at all.
Same things are occuring on xbox
