Hey folks! So with our new build coming out this week i'll be taking tomorrow to test and try out combinations, for a magick/melee build, there are a lot of options to sift through! But content will continue on the regular otherwise :D As well, marble sadly is useless in the game right now, i hadn't noticed that carved stone can't be turned into stone powder while making the video.. But if you're like me and you just want to have all the resources in the game, hopefully the marble tips will help you out :)
Looking forward to the magick/melee build! Will you please give your opinion, once it's done, which you prefer - ranged or magick/melee? Which will have the better stats in your opinion for example. Also, I just thought I'd ask (as a person who doesn't like killing for carnute), what would be the best replacement for that apex creature? I don't like killing them personally (a real life deer/animal lover) and I like the challenge of "not" killing them in games if possible. Thanks!
I'm really excited to get into making the build, there will be lots to experiment with! But sadly Mina there is no other option right now other than killing carnutes, wish there were but there is no other magick hide in the game, our next build will likely require 1-2 T3 carnutes and the pure magick build will likely require a lot of killed carnutes, melee and carry weight will be carnute free though :D And i absolutely will try to remember to do a comparison! Maybe at the end of the builds as a fun closer vid on this group of builds, we will see for that one :)
@@TenebrisInfinite Ah thanks I wasn't sure as I'm just arriving at the vault stage of the game. Just a shame as it's not been a predator in the game thus far, actually more like a beautiful peaceful creature. Kind of borks the game for me a bit but I'll sacrifice for it perhaps if it's not horrible loss of stats. I know the Devs listen sometimes, and maybe they'll add some other magic creature with a bit less likeability lol.. I mean they're with you from the start felling trees and what not. Anyway, thank you NGGuru!
Where do the recipes for crafting elemental ammo come from? Ive been searching all over ascended realms and have found none yet. Do we need an augmentation for them to show up? Im using the excellent workbench, but have no options for making this ammo.
@@TaijaT76 Ahh thanks! I have since found them at the ascended realm traders. I had been looking for them there, but just hadn't been to the correct ones when I posted here ( I tried to jump the queue and just do the higher ascended hunt and gloom levels, but the elemental ammo is found in some of the lower ascended realms.) It made a huge improvement to my damage. I was able to solo a desert vault and take out the sun giant Jana for the first time which is a great level-up for semi-nooby me :D I'm having sooo much fun in this beautiful game!
@@er8180 Not that I know of. Since typing this a month ago, I did find all the recipes by revisiting all ascended realms and checking the traders. I cannot remember which ones, but perhaps try provisioners first? The elemental ammo does help a lot with taking out the biggest enemies so the running about was worth it. Sorry that I cannot be more specific: its been a busy few weeks.

I use fire for shot guns cuz dragons breath XD ice or poison for the pistols then lightning for the rifles cuz they are cool XD
