True, I'll be coming out with a review video soon showing it "working." Honestly the Bluetooth never worked well. Just using the trolling motor on half speed it would lag behind a solid 100ft or more. Probably why they're already discontinuing it.
Sure it's not your phone? Certain power settings will absolutely disconnect once you lock or minimize an app as a way to conserve power of the device. This could just be user error with your phone.
@@sycksyn Not the phone, I left my phone screen on with the app open for the whole duration of a fishing trip to one of the busiest towns/lakes in my area and it still lagged. Full service as well in the area.
It's been a good 4 years, after all of this time how do you like the fishing rod? Not concerned about the app, but the rod itself.
