This variant of Devialet’s Dione is a collector’s edition of the soundbar that commemorates the brand’s ongoing partnership with the Opéra de Paris. One of the visually striking features of the soundbar is the 22-carat moon gold central plate, inspired by the gilded interiors of Paris’s Opéra Garnier. Like many models from Devialet’s Opéra de Paris inspired products, the Dione is designed to deliver superior sound with classy and high-end visual aesthetics.
The Dione Opéra de Paris soundbar integrates a total of 17 Devialet custom neodymium drivers. These include 9 x full-range aluminium drivers and 8 x Aluminium long-throw subwoofers to cover the left, right, centre, surround, height virtualization and bass channels. Bang in the centre of the soundbar is Devialet’s patented ORB ® ️ speaker system which essentially carries the centre channel information for clear and focused vocal and dialogue reproduction. From the 17 drivers, two are upwarding firing speakers that bounce sound off your ceiling and leverage Dolby Atmos to create an immersive surround sound experience.
Devialet goes an extra mile by integrating its trademarked SPACE™ technology. It features a patented algorithm that upscales any mono or stereo signal into an immersive 5.1.2 signal for any content you play. At the heart of the soundbar is a DAC embedded with Devialet’s intelligence processor that brings 24bits/96kHz sampling for high resolution digital to analog conversion. Interestingly, the soundbar delivers about 950 Watts RMS of power with a whopping 101dB max SPL, making it loud and ideal for larger spaces too.
The Devialet Dione Opéra de Paris soundbar features 4 unique sound presets, such as movie, spatial, voice and music. For wired connectivity, the soundbar features an HDMI 2.1 input with eARC and CEC support and optical TOSLINK. For wireless streaming and music playback, the soundbar sports Bluetooth 5.0, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, WiFi and Universal Plug and Play.
Setting up the Dione Opéra de Paris is easy. Just power the soundbar and use the Devialet app to set-up, configure and even customise the sound as per your taste. You can use your smartphone to scan your space in the App using the soundbar's four calibration microphones to establish an accurate acoustic model of your room. This auto calibrates the room for an amazing sonic experience every time.
