Exacto, a acabo de ver un video de Beato hablado de Guthrie y diciendo que es el mejor, he aprendido una que otra cosa de sus videos y Si es un genio, un maestro pero siempre me. Quedo con Gilbert, siempre paul suena mejor en cualquier Impro

Wrong. Watch Guthrie improvise blues. Guthrie is fooling around and not playing traditionally and Gilbert is awesome, but Guthrie is the awesome 2.0. but I won't say one is better. Both have no limitations I have seen. But as far as as imply developing improv rock fusion ideas Guthrie is better than everyone (watch him improv Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and Albert King better than the originals.

looks like Guthrie is so excited to be dong this with Paul, he looks a little timid and unsure of what he wants play. you can tell right away in the quality of play and sound. Paul is just on the ELITE level and Guthrie is not too far behind.

Gunthrie is a great technical guitarist from what I've heard,but Paul's playing is so much more Artistical
That's because he's just doing a variation of what Paul's doing.
@@sarshanden8033 I think Gunthrie is a good guitarist,And I have a deep respect for anyone like him that dedicates their life to contributing to real music and especially becoming a virtuoso.I hope to see him become a very Artistic musician, as I'm sure he will,Just know that I am not criticizing him at all,It's just that Paul is at another level in a genuinely Artistic way,I'm positive Gunthrie will get there and maybe even surpass that level at some point
@@virtuosodm3327 I think it's apples to oranges. I think guthrie is underappreciated because people don't understand most of his works. You will find his phrasings to be genius if not the best. On a layman's perspective you will find Paul to be one of the most coherent guitarist in blues. Not to take anything away from him or your taste but there's just a difference to the level of difficulty of how Guthrie play his. Once people understood it only then they would appreciate hin.

Let me put it to you this way:The closest music I've personally heard of to near perfection( the reason I say "near" is because that perfection is always that fleeting objective that real Artists strive for,and cannot be attainable),is Johann Sebastian Bach(in my opinion)lol.I definitely do not consider Paul Gilbert a "blues" player,He has always been much more than that,even in his early years as musician.To be completely honest with you,I don't even listen to Paul's music that much anymore, A lot of the 80's virtuoso rock guitarists were very creative in their phrasings,dynamics, chord structures, etc. .(essential very Artistic).But I've grown quite bored of the newer music that these same Artists have been creating, It seems that the newer generation of rock virtuoso guitarists are also the same,great skills but nothing really inspiring on a deep Artistic level.So I am drawn to resonate with other Artists in other genres.This rant may appear to be irrelevant to the discussion of Gunthrie/Paul,but it is actually a smidget of credibility ( in my opnion) to my knowledge of Artistic music( which by the way,is my best skill,passion, etc.),All that being said,It is very apparent to myself that Paul is on a "different" level than Gunthrie as an Artistic Musician,Paul can play anything technical,and he still does rip it up,as all of us skilled players will always love to do,but he is beyond that as "that" being the objective I've only heard a little bit of Gunthrie, And he is good at the little that I've heard,but I honestly didn't hear anything inspiring,I'll have to listen to him more,but it may take a while,because when I choose to listen to rock instrumental guitarists,I'm very picky nowadays, I prefer the creme of the crop ( in my opinion):Steve Vai,Eric Johnson,Vinnie Moore,etc.......Peace and "enlightenment" of Artistic musical understanding to you my friend. 👽👽
