I have a 2018 Sport Glide with the torque cam, ventilator and custom exhaust. I also got a detachable sissy bar and 10" Speedstream windshield. Last spring I took it on a 1200 mile camping trip to 5 different Ouachita & Ozark mtn. AR state parks. I can go ride with or without the bags and fairing. Otherwise I use it for commuting and day/weekend trips. The multi-functionality of it is perfect for my interests. People tell me all the time it's a beautiful bike.
I drove a 1200 Sportster for 5 years and changed to a 22 Sport Glide some days ago. Couldn't be happier! The SG is the most beautiful, smoothest and most powerful bike I ever owned.
Very smart to add Anna’s perspective on these 2 beautiful machines. Top to bottom I have no questions. Great info as always. Huge shoutout to Seminole Harley 👍🏼 👏👏👏 😎
I went from a sportster 48 to a sport-glide. I’ve owned it for a year and have not looked back since. The bike is plenty capable for cross country touring, along with around the town bar hopping. Personally I believe it is the best softail has currently lined up. I was originally looking at the heritage, the moment I walked across the sport glide I fell in love. I will agree the stock seat does stink, I instantly swapped it out for a sundowner seat which was the best investment ever. If you are looking for a bike that can perform on many levels and affordable as well, the sportglide is the bike for you.
Hey Max. Still loving your SG? I have a 48 and considering the Sport Glide. Love the 48 but feel like I’m sat on top and not the most comfortable with the stock seat and bars. I’m 5’10
@@MrGeeforce20 I do not, I sold it last March. I will saw, selling the 48 was the best decision. The sport glide was a great bike. I missed sport bikes and decided to return to them. If I were you, I’d wait and looked into the low rider s being released this year. A leaked picture has bags and a full front fairing.
Great video getting the female perspective on Harley Davidson’s soft tail. Good luck during the upcoming storm and be safe, maybe we will get another Chick fil A Drive thru video. Keep up the great work.
Love the vid guys, We went for a test ride spree yesterday and ended up getting a 21 sport glide, Mrs doesn't ride but loves coming along 2 up and she loves the looks and feel of the sport glide, were gonna get a premium seat that helps for her comfort and a back rest, As a new Harley owner we wouldnt have normally considered thier bikes but glad we took the plunge and tried them out, they have some very nice bikes recently and the styling is starting to appeal to us.
Love my 19' Lowrider. The plushy seat and large tank sold me. I have the clip on luggage rack/sissy and short clip on windshield. I can tour around the world on it if I wanted.
If i hadn't found my FXDLS i would be on a Sport Glide. It's definitely the best bike in Harley's current line-up. I do wish Harley would offer it with the 114. The new Teal colour option looks awesome.
Poppa Fletch traded his Dyna Street Bob on a new Sport Glide about a year ago. I was kind of nervous, because that Dyna was really a part of his heart. But he LOVES the Sport Glide! With the bags and fairing on, it's his commuter bike for the 40 miles he travels in to work, or for longer trips. It doesn't wear him out at all. Just to sport around town, he'll take off all the bags and the fairing, and it's such a good looking thing- people will actually come up to him in parking lots, wanting to know exactly what bike he's on. I'm beginning to shop for my "big bike" (when I graduate from my Sportster, lol!), and everything I look at, I compare to that Sport Glide- it's kind of set the bar for me.
Stay safe out there during the hurricane bro, sending you love from down under in Miami. Hopefully it doesn’t stop you from making content for too long 🤘🏼
Thanks for all the videos on the new soft tails. I have limited time to run to the harley dealer 2 hours away from me. I just purchased a 2020 Sport Glide yesterday and made the right decision because of all the info you provided so seamlessly.
I really liked the sport glide. Great function but at 6"3 I looked like a grasshopper unfortunately lol. The roadking special suits me more and I'm loving it
Love the profile of both bikes and colors on the sportsline. I prefer the low rider in either black with the same tank tagging or a dark color. I have a 19 fltrxswith a 114 m8/SE1 no cam as far as I know. But it has power to spare . No problems getting out its own way.
I've had two sportsters with the 883. One normally aspirated and one injected. Never had problems keeping up or getting up to speed. Moved from there to an 05 flhrci with an 88ci and loved the extra power there. When I got my 19 fltrxs as I was riding it home i came to appreciate the power and abs stopping capabilities because i had to utilize both due to traffic i came across.
I’m disappointed that the sport glide didn’t get a 114 option, And the Lowrider S should have had the 117, and they should have fixed the ass end of the FXDR. they did a better job with the ass end of the LiveWire. And if I were king, The electric glide standard would be a sleeper bike, with a 114 and a 117 engine option!
What a wonderful way to do a review video. Wish more people did videos like this and it’s great to get multiple perspectives on two different bikes in the same video
That’s one of the best-looking Low Riders I’ve ever seen. I would buy that. Everyone is all about the Low Rider S the past few years, and I like the silver one with those matte bronze wheels, but wow that red/blue on white pops and the chrome isn’t bad!
I love that color on the sport glide. Harley has actually been doing the scorched orange/black denim since last year & it costs an extra $2k for that color 😂
Block, both are beautiful bikes, I’ve been riding Sportsters for last 10 yrs. & am craving more torque & power & that Sport Glide looks awesome! Looks like the perfect all round bike, nice review
yes i have the orange one too, 3 different shield lengths not sure which one i really like., brakes are good, cruise is awesome and easy to use and the USB is really useful
Bought a 2019 Sport Glide and have already ridden her coast to coast. She's fabulous and is my main transportation. I hardly ever drive my Subaru Forester anymore. Getting close to 20,000 miles with zero issues. I did have my left saddlebag stolen though. Watch them saddlebags, people! They are not cheap to replace! ($1,500.00 😿)
I prefer mid controls. I’d add highway pegs to have the best of both worlds. I thought I’d hate the floor boards on my street glide but it lets you choose so many foot positions. I can stretch out on the highway and tuck in on the twisties. That might be the difference for you. There’s no curvy roads in Florida. If you got the low rider on a mountain road you’d love it because you can really use your weight in the turns. It can be a little awkward at first. But when I had my Dyna street bob it was very welcomed for taking hard turns at speed. I rode both the softail fat bob and street bob and hated the peg position because they were too far forward. Highway pegs are where it’s at for long distance comfort.
Regarding the seat from HD on the Sport Glide. Post up on a Bulletin Board on Harleys, and ask under the softail section, how many Sport Glide owners replaced their seat and what do they recommend. Lots of Saddlemen, some Corbins, Mustangs, depends where you live and who is local to you that makes seats.
That right there is my dream bike. I don't mind so much about the colour of the bags and the dual discs, but the option of the 114 and some blackout treatment and I would buy one tomorrow.
Sounds like she needs to ride ms.blocks bike t bars and shield other than forwards it sounds like what she'd like. She fit really good on the low and I'm sure hd is making stupid deals on 18s and with a trade in she probably do better than she thinks
Joe Williams I’ve been on Ms. Block’s bike and I love it! It was good to see what a stock one would feel like though since mine would be like that for a while. You’re probably right about getting a killer deal but it’s still not as good as not having a bike payment 😜
I text rode a Sport Glide. I LOVED IT, but I’m 6’3” and those bars and seats were awful for me and actually got pains my Bonnie never transmitted to me. I seemed to fit better on a Heritage
Does the Sport Glide come in that new teal color? Think that color would be awesome. You really seem to be leaning Sport Glide huh? Hope you stay safe in the storm heading ya'll's way. I am still waiting to see Indian's new fixed fairing....if they ever release it. Do you go to Seminole HD now because maybe it is closer to the new house you guys bought?
I want one of those 107 Lowriders! Sucks they discontinued em! Unless i get lucky seein a used one I might spend the extra gettin the Sport Glide. Annas right- taller bars needed
Fkin love the Low-Rider. One day I'll have the skills and cash to buy one =) My current bike has forward controls. Makes it difficult to even try counter balancing or even popping up for bumps. Grate suspension on my Honda Saber though.

Just put a deposit down on the 2020 Lowrider S, which I'll have a stage 3, Bassani 2;1, Air cleaner, FP3 and some cosmetics. I've wanted a Lowrider S since the Dyna days (indeed it's why I first subscribed to this channel). Between the sportglide and low rider s personally, i would love hard bags that match the paint over composite. But if you do that might as well get the low rider s right?
Hey man, would you be able to give out some pointers about buying from the dealership than buying from owner. Looking to buy a dyna as my first bike. I know i know. A dyna as a first bike is basically overkill and that i am crazy to even consider it but i am well aware of the beast of a bike it is. Just dont wanna end up buying a different bike and regretting not buying a dyna.
Twistin throttles and poppin bottles ? lol Block, thats the pin i have on my bar bag lmao ... I guess subliminally you member? hahaha lovin that Sport Glide!! Looks so gooder!
Love these types of vids could you do one on the 2020 softail slim I wanna know your thoughts on it even though it’s pretty much just a ripped down version of the heritage classic
Hey block head I love you man huge fan here, when you installed the exhaust on the fxdr did you have to install the tuner right away ? I’m curious to know if I can get away without a tuner for a while
You can try and see if it pops on decel. You can probably get away without one for a bit. When you change the air cleaner/intake that's when you need to retune for sure
hey Block nice VLOG again. hey would love to see you do a review on the my 2020 Low Rider S see how you think it is compared to the DYNA low Rider S anyway mate ride safe stay vigilant and have a good one.

That red white and blue..Willie G Davidson designed that color in early 70s ...the first SUPER GLIDE. it's awesome
Yup, classic scheme

According to Harley parts catalog the sportglide seat fits on the low rider to lower seat height about half inch
What Coms system do you have in your helmets, thanks Lee / Australia
You have the sharpest camera on TH-cam. Great picture quality. Great video.
Love the vid man....that red white and blue bike is sick.Saw on the radar a storm headed your way...... To you and every rider down there stay safe.
Love your videos man, hopefully you guys stay safe for Dorian. I've been through enough hurricanes to know that a Cat 4 isn't worth the views lol
Big fan of the sport glide with a fxdr fairing. Coast glide build from laidlaws rings a bell....
Softtail with bags is a stagger
I might sound really stupid but what do you mean by stagger? Lol
@@MrShanzac soft tail bagger. Drop the b and you got it.
long shoppin list to make the 107 engine open up..HD just needs to make a sport glide S all black with the 114

So as a newbee, how are you and Anna able to communicate to each other or what product are you using?
puZAEdr, believe he uses a senna communication system. If I am not mistaken, you can link 4 coms together
Is Ana's audio during their conversation getting picked up by Blocks mic that is connected to his go pro?
Hey, what kind of communicator (brand/model) are you using? Sounds real good...

Love sport glide...
The Sport Glide looks gorgeous in orange!
Why do always have guide with you when you doing test rides? Is this a special US thing?
Greeting from Germany 😉
Best way to describe Glide is rolling, cruising down the road in a cool fashion with no effort at all.
Its cause people like to be thieves. They go on the ride with them so they dont take off with the bike.
I could see you on a Sport glide Block. Maybe not that orange though lol.
Corey H I could see him on a black sport glide with gold accents lol
That low rider is cool. I’d like to see laced wheels on it. The dyna-style bobbed fender on the softail frame looks really awkward to me. Wide and stubby looking. Kinda odd imo
Sport Glide Yes!
Stock HD sportster suspension doesn’t have height adjustability... Its allows for preload adjustment of the spring only, looks are deceiving for sure!
Last week went from an 2017 Iron 883 with the 1200 kit on it, some bags and a vector batwing fairing onto a 2019 Indian Chieftain. Totally different world. A little over halfway through break-in on it. Loving it! Block-when you getting a bagger?!

Just put a deposit down on the 2020 Lowrider S, which I'll have a stage 3, Bassani 2;1, Air cleaner, FP3 and some cosmetics. I've wanted a Lowrider S since the Dyna days (indeed it's why I first subscribed to this channel).
I just can't see why anyone would now go for the standard Lowrider apart from maybe if you prefer the look. The 'S' tears it a new one! would the sport glide be ok for tall rider-6'6" nice looking bike
Question why haven’t the videos been at Orlando Harley?
I'm having a hard time deciding between the lowrider, softtail slim or a street bob. Help!
Just curious why you didn't get ABS on Mrs Blockhead bike ? Will you be doing a test ride on Low Rider S soon.
I like the sport glide just wish it was blacked out and paint denim white.
My question for the longest time is how does the sport glide look without the saddle bags. 3:00 arrrrggghhhhhh
What’s an inverted front fork? Is it better?
What brand of helmets are you using with the communications?
The Dragstar 650 which I wanna get next year it got the same kind of ''baby'' fairing :D
looks very similar to that exept it's red
Yamaha the American Way
Sportglide has Fatboy standard fatter handlebars, much nicer , and upside down forks make front end look beefier, nice without fairing.
Between the sportglide and low rider s personally, i would love hard bags that match the paint over composite. But if you do that might as well get the low rider s right?

I think she looked really good and comfortable on the Low Rider, just my opinion.
Chldof1TrueKng I agree! Comfort was definitely the word for that bike in my perspective.
Guess blockhead isn't going back to Orlando Harley.
Did he ever explain that situation??
Huh. Forgot about that.
