Painting a Bird of Paradise with PanPastels, Pastel Pencils with Brushes.
In this demonstration/tutorial you see me paint a "Bird of Paradise".
These flowers are everywhere here in Australia and it would be amiss if didn't one them.
Apologies the surface is 9.5 x 6 inch or 24 x15.5cm Pastelmat (Anthracite).
Art supplies used:
PanPastels colours listed below:-
I used various panpastel colours, but the main ones were Pthalo Blue X Dark, Ultramarine, Pthalo Green X Dark, Permanent Green, Magenta, Violet X dark, Hansa Yellow, Hansa Yellow tint, Orange, Orange Tint, Turquoise Shade, Turquoise Tint. and applied with makeup bristle brushes.
Masking film by X-Press IT
Glassine Paper
Pastelmat (Anthracite)
Various pastel pencils
Make-Up bristle brushes
1/8th inch synthetic bristle brush
