  • How to remove the cooling reservoir on the 2011 Camaro. Sorry I'm not in the video not looking my best working on this vehicle.

    After, research the thermostat is not following the radiator cap, you follow it from the left hand side facing the hood it's all the way to the back side of the engine on top you'll have to wedge your hands behind the top back of the motor you can also follow the solid black 1 inch hose, metal hose on the left side of the engine,, if you're standing under the hood..

    What’s the hole under the flap on the coolant reservoir/overflow tank for? Does it have a hose, or plug, or is it just open like that? I fill my coolant tank and then it leaks a lot if I over fill took it out doesn’t have cracks or anything just that hole u see the flap. What is it for?

      Don't do anything to your coolant reservoir It has a hole on the side to release overflow..nothing wrong with the reservoir only if you have a crack you should replace it but it's not likely to damage on you. You should only put water in there if your engine is running and it will pick up what is needed anything over that would need to come out of that little hole on the side

      @@rochellelopez2245 is the release hole on the skinny neck part or big part that fell out the bottom in the video? Mine is leaking after I filled it.

      Yes I could n't edit the video and I meant to say it was directly in the back I've had to change it so it is not an easy job.. I thought I made a note of it on this page but it may not have Thank you
