    Back in the day we didn't have to wear helmets or safety vests. I can imagine how up tight these places can be. I hauled a lot of steel myself. Be safe and God Bless.

    Please advise Cory that he should never be on the opposite side of the trailer while the forklift is on the other side either loading or unloading.I know of several instances where material has been knocked off the trailer and falling on top of the driver while he was rolling up the straps.The outcome was not good.     the worst thing about otr is most places u go u never been so u are hoping people u talk to know what they know but most dont, i do regional so everywhere i go i go kinda regularly and i know whats up

    How many days you are on the road vs home? What do you eat on the road and how much you spend on food?

      I'm on the road 5 to 6 days. Can be home 34 to 48 hours.

      I do about half and half with food. Some I take with me and some I eat out. Usually about $50 a week out.

    flatbed is dangerous, and so are other trucking jobs too but flatbed u can fall off the trailer
