Do you know if there is any product that might restore the fascia panel (i.e. above the dashboard); this has been affected by the sun, with several bare patches?
Thing to bear in mind is, you get £10 back when you return the bottle and you can re-use the hose as many times as you need so it's a one time purchase (there's also an extension hose for hard to reach valves). Kwik fit will charge you for a re-gas they don't actually carry out and will tell you they did it but your car has a leak so it didn't work. I know this for a fact because they did it to me but something about it didn't ring true so I bought the kit, did it myself and it worked fine.
Hi, have you figured out why the has was low in the first place? I mean was there a leak? Because as I understand Aircon gas shouldn't get low unless there was a leak somewhere
Yup the bottle will keep for a very long time.. Mine needed the whole bottle as it was totally empty. But if you just topping up,, yeah keep using the bottle till its empty then return!
I have a 2006 picasso, and its completely empty I need to regas it. Do I need to to clean it or service it before regassing? For me its an old car really.

issue now is it costs £60 for that recharge bottle, £10 for the hose. Kwikfit charge £60 for an Aircon refill.

Air con gas runs out over time as its used, hence the need to refill.
