I don't know the details of what the possibility would be, but there's already an asymmetrical Predator game, so I'd think that would make it a complication to get a Predator license.

Valak (the demon who turns into the Nun) would be an awesome addition to the killer roster! Ed and Lorraine could have a ton of cool perks. Lorraine would make a better survivor because she possesses mystical powers.

Not entirely. His situation is more like Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger: Different entities own the rights to different films (first film, sequels). Depending on which version of Candy Man DBD wants, they would need to pursue the specific rights from whichever entity holds rights to that specific version of Candy Man.

I’ll be honest when I say that I hadn’t heard of Candyman until I started going on TH-cam binges on channels like Dead Meat (horror movie kill count videos - they’re good, go watch em). I think Candyman would make a great addition to the DbD universe. He could bring in a swarm mechanic, and maybe it’d work like the Plague’s infection mechanic - the swarm gets worse unless you can get to a cleansing station (don’t know how the cleanse would work, though). I still need to watch his movies, but this killer would be great for bringing out a fear of bugs in this game, which I have. 😱 So c’mon, Cote, what’re y’all waiting for? Make me cry - make with the buzz buzz and make me feel fear! 🤣
i feel like the cleaning station would probably be a mirror, but the downside to cleansing the swarm would literally be alerting or summoning candyman to the location of said survivor.

For Candyman, I would have his special technique would be launching bees at people, but there would be mirrors all over the place, and survivors can summon Candyman to their location with them, which can potentially save your teammates if you pull them away from a hunt or make them drop a victim before they can hook them.
I personally think all the original chapters after Oni weren't scheduled for release except trickster, and the devs decided to release them because of probably the pandemic, licenses that were being made fell through, or something else. Because a lot of the leaks showed licensed chapters than a few weeks they added shards to them which wouldn't make sense unless plans were changed last minute and they had to throw at deathslinger, blight and twins earlier than they wanted to

Honestly I thought Alien was the most highly requested license. I mean Jason, Candyman, Pinhead and Pennywise would be awesome to have but I just think that Alien is a tad bit up there and would be the license to bring up an all time high fan base in DBD.
I also wish for Jeepers Creepers to come into DBD but I understand why the devs will not support/work with the owner Victor. In 1988 he was convicted of child sexual abuse and child pornography. One of his crimes was that he recorded a sexual misconduct encounter with an underage 12 year old. However, if Victor gives off his license of JC’s to someone else then maybe one day the devs would pursue JC. Who knows though...
I feel so bad for Candyman fans. I've recently been getting into The Candyman franchise and he looks like a fantastic addition to the killer roster, especially with how unique he is compared to other killers. There's certainly room to make him play differently than other killers, rather than be a copy paste with a few tweaks to make him differ slightly. With Pinhead in the game, Candyman seems like a great follow-up for a next killer chapter or paragraph.

@Doug Oonk I find the big daddy's to be rather intimidating and once you initiate combat with one, I find it rather scary. Their monsterous steps echo's through out rapture, letting it's presence be known. I think they would be pretty good additions to Dbd.
