What I'm unsure of is, how do i pick which tune to pick? Does it say for instance better fuel mileage? I know you showed the horse power, but still wondering all the different tunes i can pick from. Or is it just one tunei SHOULD pick? How much does it cost for them to tune the tuner for you? Please post a link where i can buy one and get info on where i can get someone to tune it for me. Thanks.
Thank you sir awesome videos! Question for you on the tunes How can I find out what tunes are downloaded on the truck purchased with supposed tunes already installed ???
Hey glad I seen this video. I had this done and can’t decide to run it on SOTF 0-150 or the 0-170. It is a 2013 6.7 with GDP. Any major differences? I’ve ran both. Just don’t want to hurt anything running the 170. Any pros and cons would be nice
So i see u said u go through another company for tunes, so what does it mean when it says the "full support pack"? Is that just unlimited tunes to choose from from ez lynk itself? And what company do you use bc im thinking about getting one for my 16 and want some good tunes.
Thanks for all your great videos. I have a problem that maybe you, or someone on this site may be familiar with. I have a 2016 Denali HD 6.6. I bought the EZ Lynk Auto Agent 2 to do some (emissions on) tunes. I could not connect. I found a blown fuse. I replaced it, then was able to connect with GDP, and download a firmware update, then downloaded all my tunes. I installed a legal 'Emissions On' 50 Hp tune, and it works great. The truck shows up under 'vehicles'. I wanted to install the (emissions on) SOTF, so I tried to connect again. I have had zero success connecting with my truck since. All fuses are good, and the unit works. I tried connecting with another vehicle and the gauges came up immediately. There is some kind of issue with the truck and I'm out of ideas. Tech Support couldn't help. Once they found out I was able to connect with the other vehicle, all they kept telling me is that the unit is good. I have no aftermarket anti-theft system or anything. When I plug in, a red / blue light comes on, then only the blue stays on. I've never gotten any green lights. EZ LYNK shows up and connects on the iphone settings just fine. When I go back to the app, that's when I have problems connecting. Would someone help me please? It would be very much appreciated...
Hey man, great vid as always. About how long does it take to install the delete tunes on a dodge? I’ve got a 2017 2500 and doing a full delete as well as a non VGT turbo.
Lets say I have to do this every year, will I always be able to put emissions back on and be able to reinstall my stock tune for smog purposes? If so what others things should I look after down the road if I'm repeating this process annually? I'll be running lifetime tunes from ctt and proven with ez link.
Great video! Just got my EZ-LYNK tuner but I want to see what tunes are on my tuner prior to installing the rest of my dpf delete kit. Is that possible and will it hurt the ECM if I plug it up just to see? Also this is my first deleted diesel what should I be always monitoring on the EZ-LYNK? Thanks!
One quick question. Do you have to keep the link pluged in or once you tune the truck can you just unplug it and leave it off? Great video by the way you have one new subscriber. 👍
It would make sense profit wise that they lock to a specific Vin, but I know there’s a company that sells after market dual turbos that sends these out for customers to tune and return so maybe it’s not a vin lock but a make/model lock?
I have a 2013 chevy silverado 2500HD 6.6L LML Duramax 144,000 miles, 100% stock. I kind of jumped the gun and bought a superchips dash cal. Tuner, ( it's the one the sticks to the windshield)not to download any tuned but to monitor systems and be able to get codes if the check engine light comes on. Do you know, if superchips has the programing needed for emissions? I want to do the 4" Flo Pro exhaust from the V clamp back getting rid of the cat and def tank. Or if I have to get a tuner maybe mini max, once I tune emissions can I plug back in my superchips tuner for continuous monitoring like I'm use it for now? Thank You, great video's.
Hey man great vid. I have a stock 2015 ram 3500. Can’t decide between the ez-link or efi live. I’m doing a full delete on the truck. Getting parts out of Kelowna. Any recommendation would be appreciated! I live in AB
Dirty diesel customs, order from them. Make sure you get the ccs tuned ez lynk and use DARKIRON5 for 5% off. If you have trouble with shipping just call them and ask for Spencer. Tell him I sent you.
I know your in Canada and getting tunes is way easier to come by so I was wondering if you could share with me the companies name so I can contact them about tunes for my deleted truck? Thanka
When you started the truck after the tune installed was the original exhaust and emission still intact? I’m about to do this to my LML and that’s my concern. I don’t want to flash the tune and start it then cause problems since the exhaust is still factory. Thanks!
Dude just ordered mine for my GMC 2020 3500. Cant wait. Question, where do you recommend I get tunes from ? Oh shit, and your canadian. Where a bouts? BC here.
Who do you use for your tunes ? I was looking at getting some from Motor-Ops in Quebec Unfortunately I’m in the US so getting new fresh custom tunes has been challenging. You ever heard of Motor Ops ?

Hello sir! I'm from Costa Rica, I have a Ram 3500 SRW HD with AISIN and HO Engine, 2019, do you recommend the Raceme Ultra for the better tunes dpf delete, def, etc.? Or you prefer the EZ LINK? REGARDS, i appreciate your answer! Thanks
I've had my truck tuned by a local shop and they did a 5-select Switch on the Fly EZLYNK and this morning I was in Sport Economy (#4) @ 80mph for 20min and smelled something burning through the AC like it was oil or something...I slowed down to 70mph and then the smell went away. Thoughts? I am lost.
I have a Cummins going to go with ezlynk my question is if I don’t do a Sotf switch can the tunes switch on the fly via the app or do you have to shut off the truck each time to change tunes
me too lol i have no clue on what to get. i just sent the banks tuner back today because i learned i cant tune it on my off road build that i plan on doing. so now im searching around to see what would be a good choice.
Is the correct order to do the physical delete first then the tune or vice versa. Sorry dumb question but curious if u do the delete over a day or so- and have to move the vehicle before tuning. I assumed it probably wouldn’t start. Hopefully I’m wrong. Good vid though bud 🍻
Good question. I always do the tune first, then remove the dpf. Then you can either leave the EGR on the truck and just unplug it or remove it altogether. Whatever a guy wants to do.
Dark Iron Diesel so how bad have I messed up if I did the physical delete first and now have my ez lynk? Will it still work? Without the physical components truck will turn on for 2-3 seconds then shut down.
Are you able to get the tuning software without seeing a tuning shop? My buddy just did a delete on his 2015 Eco diesel and it won’t crank now has the same kit.
Everything was working fine. My battery went dead and now the iPad it will not reconnect to my truck? It happened before and the guy said all he did was hook it to the Wi-Fi and it reconnected. Well it is not working for me lol do you have any suggestions?
I just got a truck with a ez lynk in it a 5pos switch in it also. It had it in the truck already tuned and deleted will i be able to still conect to the ezlynk and look at the tunes or not?
when I call any shop or parts distributors, they all say that they only do work/sell products that are to work with all emissions equipment intact. I have watched many of your videos, which are exceptional by the way, regarding the lml, and am looking to build an offroad truck with my 2011 LML. After watching your vid's on tuners, I called a distributor about which one they recommend for my truck and they told me that they don't sell what I am looking for and that I would need to go to an overseas distributor. are they telling me this just to protect themselves and they will work for my application, or is it true that I cant purchase a pre-programmed unit like ez link auto agent 2? thanks for a super job on your videos!
Everything is vin specific now. You can still order an ez lynk then match it to your vin and then upload the tunes. I should have links in my videos, but get CCS tuned auto agent from dirty diesel customs and use DARKIRON5 for 5% off
Help !!! I bought a 16 f350 6.7 its been deleted and had a three different tuners in it a bunch of extra junk wire mess u undid all that got rid of it all cuz i found a ez link in there to plugged it in downloaded app got synced but my Prob is i bought it from a car lot and dont have a way to contact the previous owner to do the hand off …. How do i regain full access to ecm tunes ect with out the hand off ????
Once you have installed this is it pretty easy to change the tune for more HP or something later? Or do you have to buy another tune file? Is there a screen that can be mounted on dash to monitor or just use your phone only? I have a mini maxx on 2016 6.7 I’m considering converting. Thanks
When you link your truck to the ez lynk you will have access to the tune files of whatever company you choose. I use CCS there should be a link in description. Then if you ever want to change tunes it only takes a few minutes. If you want a monitor just uninstall your minimaxx, then use ez lynk tuning, then you can plug the minimax back in strictly to monitor gauges
Why can I not notice any significant changes between any tunes that range from a light tow tune all the way to the race tune? I’ve tried all tunes and no difference. Has also been fully deleted. 2017 F250
I bought a 2015 it has the 5-Position SOTF Shift on the Fly Switch but nothing else. I can definitely tell the different numbers are changing something. How do I tell what I have for tunes?
I think EZ Lynk can return the ECM to stock so you can then use different tuning from a company you choose. Or have a dealership flash the ECM back to stock and then tune it with new tunes right away.
For several weeks now I’ve been trying to use the mini Max version two. It refused to download anything into my vehicle. The company I purchased it from does not have live tech-support only through email which is a pain in the ass and all they keep saying is I’m not doing something right. $1000 down the toilet and then I now ordered the easy link. Hopefully this will work.
If I bought a 2019 F-350 with EZ link already on it can I put it back to stock lol I’m here in Cali and also do I always need it plugged in or can I do a tune and In plug it ?
so my 2021 6.7 Cummins emissions controls fell off on a real bumpy road is it going to be a lot different tuning when its a push button start, and what's your thoughts on mm3 tuner
Yes but you have to get the vin transferred to your ez lynk account from the previous account it’s linked too. Or else you will have to buy the tunes again.
I have Ezlynk. I had PPEI tuner they wouldn’t revise my tunes once I did a CP3 (on a 2011 lml) full delete. So I went to diesel dudes . Same Ezlynk. Question is do I delete the app and start a new one ? Or once I get the tunes just plug it in and go ?
Let's say I want to buy this and put this on an all stock truck and tune it, then later I buy a new exhaust and do an EGR delete will I be able to go back in and update that or no?
It depends on what the company you choose offers. Some companies only have delete tunes, and some only have emission compliant tunes, but some have both. So find a company that offers both then you can run an emission complaint tune for now, then when you are ready to delete just switch the tune, no problem.
So I'm a little confused can you tune your truck with the EZ Lynk without getting D Kits (trying to watch wording lol). I heard that you can tune without the truck losing weight but wasn't sure if thats true or not.
The tunes will disable the EGR system. There is an EGR valve that limits the exhaust that goes back into the engine, so as long as that valve is functioning properly at the time of the delete, it should stay closed once you tune the truck and not let exhaust back in. Its always better to get rid on the egr though for peace of mind and to clean up the engine bay, but its not necessary.
I have a 2016 f250 diesel... I’m not in the tuning game yet but would like to update the tire size and fuel tank size in my truck’s computer. Would this be the best option and if that’s all I want to use it for for now would I still have to link it with a tuning company?
Hmm I’m pretty sure you would have to link up to a company still. But I could be wrong. What do you mean change fuel tank size? Because my understanding is it’s just the float in the tank that tells the ecm what level the fuel is at, so if you put a bigger tank In the float would still work the same
@@darkirondiesel thank you for The quick reply. I had a 60 gallon Titan Fuel tank installed. I’ve seen other companies will send you an easy link for free just to update the fuel Tank size in the computer so your DTE is recalibrated. S&B tanks has a video about it on their website. Unfortunately I didn’t buy from them.
Hi, I have a question I brought in my truck to the dealer 4 days ago and they updated the ecm and now I can't drive my truck because a lot of codes came up. My truck was deleted when I bought it so now I need to find someone who can reprogram my truck the problem is that I don't know who can do that.. any advice on how to get it fixed? Thanks in advance.
My advice would be buy your own tuner and tune it yourself. Depending on your vehicle I’d get efi live or ez lynk if it’s a ford. There are links in my description
@Dark Iron Diesel thanks for your response! I have another question, my truck has the chip in it its a ezlink one but I'm not sure if I can reuse the same one? My truck is a nissan titan xd with a cummins 5.0. Thanks in advance brother!
Hello friend, I want to buy the EZ LYNK and I found them on the internet, but they have different prices, some cost 499 and others 1200 or more, I'm not sure which one I should buy, call those places but I don't speak English very well, you Can you tell me where you bought your EZ LYNK please, I really liked your video good luck
I have a question Can you use ez lynk with various trucks not just one? In other words can I tume my truck then tune my friends trucks? With the same tuner
Kind of... the ez lynk auto agent is just a way to get the tunes onto your truck. So you can pay the money to link your truck to ez lynk, program your truck, then unplug the auto agent. Then your friend can pay the money to link his truck and you can go plug your auto agent into his truck and install the tunes same as you did on your truck. So yes it works on multiple trucks but each truck you have to pay to link it to EZ Lynk. If that makes sense.
If the truck was originally tuned using EZ Lynk, then EZ Lynk can also return it to factory settings. I think the dealership would need to flash it if the tune was installed with a different brand.
Just bought a used 2018 3500 cummins, it has the ezlynk installed and tuned. I wanted to see what tunes were on it and where the previous owner got em, but it's having trouble connecting to my phone. It did restart to update, hut then times out. I'm guessing there's no other way, but to sync it and see?
Like you cant connect to it at all? You have to get the previous owner to transfer the truck over to your ez lynk account. A vin can only be connected to one ez lynk account. He does that by connecting to the auto agent and then theres an option that says "transfer vehicle" or something like that. He selects that then enters your email associated with your ez lynk account and then clicks "OK" and you will get an email saying someone sent you a vehicle, you click on the link and accept the vehicle and then you are able to make changes to it. If that made sense haha
Bought a truck deleted with ez lynk still attached truck runs awesome but wanna get a transmission tune and remove the tire sensor. So my question is how to I get an agent. To help me with those things thx
The truck is most likely already linked up to engine and tranny tunes, but what you have to do is make an ez lynk account and then get the old owner of the to transfer the vehicle from his ex lynk account to yours, then you can go in and switch tunes.
@@darkirondiesel gotcha. When I downloaded the app I’m able to link to the truck. But I don’t have any of the previous owner info on it. I bought it deleted at a dealership
If you tune the truck with emission compliant tunes then you leave everything on, but if you are tuning it with delete tunes you HAVE to install an aftermarket exhaust to get rid of the DPF system. You can leave the EGR on though, typically you just unplug it if you are leaving it on.
@@darkirondiesel interesting. I am not very knowledgeable about diesels in general, can you explain to me what an emissions tune is as opposed to a +hp tune?
So I just recently had my truck worked on. Shop tuned it with SOTF and all the goodies but they didn’t have a module for me to purchase at the time. Tuned it anyway and told me the tunes were on a “loan” type of thing and I had 4 weeks to get a module, does that sound right?
They probably just did the “4 week lynk” which means after 4 weeks are up you can’t change your tunes anymore, like you can’t lynk to ez lynk servers and download new tunes. But all you have to do is pay like $100 to upgrade that to an unlimited lynk, not a big deal
@@darkirondiesel ok cool. Is it as simple as buying the module, following these steps and once it’s linked to my truck my tunes will show up or way more in-depth then that?
You can get egt sensors for ez-lynk but I’d only do that if you are planning on mounting a tablet or old iPhone in the truck to monitor when driving. If you aren’t then I would get an edge cts3 monitor with egt pyro.

Can you still get Ezlynk dpf and egr delete tunes? I thought they were forced to stop producing that
Wondering the same thing
Yep, just ordered mine
@@jaycevessier7554 where did you purchase from
Great vid bro! Who’s your tuner company?
Question. Can I used on 2015 chevy silverado 3500HD, I ready delete the EGR valve and DPF systems or wich one you think works for my truck?
Everything was working fine. My battery went dead and now the iPad it will not reconnect to my truck? It happened before and the guy said all he did was hook it to the Wi-Fi and it reconnected. Well it is not working for me lol do you have any suggestions?
idk if i missed it in the video or not but who did u get the tunes from?
The dude that tuned my truck is unreachable. I had to buy a new Auto Agent 2, where do I go from here? Lol
For the rumble and whistle tune do you have to go with straight pipe and what if the dpf system needs replacing can I still tune it
I just got a truck with a ez lynk in it a 5pos switch in it also.
I should have links in my videos, but get CCS tuned auto agent from dirty diesel customs and use DARKIRON5 for 5% off
Quick question Can I select any tunes And it will delete the DPF and DEF Or is there a special one for that
What do ya know about the Auto agent 3? is it just a monitor?
I recently bought a 2011 f250 powerstroke with an ezlynk already installed. Can I connect it with my iPhone?
Help !!!
I bought a 16 f350 6.7 its been deleted and had a three different tuners in it a bunch of extra junk wire mess u undid all that got rid of it all cuz i found a ez link in there to plugged it in downloaded app got synced but my
Prob is i bought it from a car lot and dont have a way to contact the previous owner to do the hand off ….
One more question, does the dealership void warranty if you install ezlynk?
I don’t know which company to choose. Mines a 2013 ford f250 6.7
Get this kit man shrsl.com/4ke0i
What’s the highest horsepower tune they had?
Bought a truck with the ezlink programmer no previous owner info so what do I have to do to get into the program
By any chance do you carry any embroidered hats and beenies???
do have to have your phone connected or turned on to use the ez link tuner all time when driving the truck?
No. you don’t even need to have the ez lynk plugged into the obd port.
No way to tell
I think EZ Lynk can return the ECM to stock so you can then use different tuning from a company you choose.
Or have a dealership flash the ECM back to stock and then tune it with new tunes right away.
For several weeks now I’ve been trying to use the mini Max version two. It refused to download anything into my vehicle. The company I purchased it from does not have live tech-support only through email which is a pain in the ass and all they keep saying is I’m not doing something right. $1000 down the toilet and then I now ordered the easy link. Hopefully this will work.
I have links on where to buy in my description I hope you used it
Can you do a egr delete video for the 2011-2014 6.7 powerstroke
Going to buy a 6.7 that has a tune on it didn't come with tuner? How could I change it? Get another tuner than change it?
If I bought a 2019 F-350 with EZ link already on it can I put it back to stock lol I’m here in Cali and also do I always need it plugged in or can I do a tune and In plug it ?
so my 2021 6.7 Cummins emissions controls fell off on a real bumpy road is it going to be a lot different tuning when its a push button start, and what's your thoughts on mm3 tuner
Tunes that were available for stock truck, can you use them after doing a EGR/DPF delete?
No you have to get a new tune for the emissions removed
@@darkirondiesel Copy
I just got the auto agent 3 for my 2019 6.7 powerstroke do i need to upgrade my transmission so i dont screw it up?
What do you like to monitor ?
I just bought a 2018 Ram 2500HD 6.7 and I really dont know what to buy or where to get the tune. Need advice! Nice video
where are you located?
If you buy a truck with EXlynk tune already on it with no auto agent. Can you buy a auto agent to see what kind tune previous owner put on it?
Yes but you have to get the vin transferred to your ez lynk account from the previous account it’s linked too. Or else you will have to buy the tunes again.
will this e z lynk leave a footprint. if I put it back to stock? if I need to go the dealer.
Can you change levels direct on the screen like level 1 2 3 4 ??
I have one in my 2015 duramax an i want to know if you can do it ??
Does it need to be plugged in all the time after I put a tune on ?
I have Ezlynk. I had PPEI tuner they wouldn’t revise my tunes once I did a CP3 (on a 2011 lml) full delete. So I went to diesel dudes . Same Ezlynk. Question is do I delete the app and start a new one ? Or once I get the tunes just plug it in and go ?
No you should be able to keep everything the same just lynk it to diesel dudes (gdp) when you plug it in
Let's say I want to buy this and put this on an all stock truck and tune it, then later I buy a new exhaust and do an EGR delete will I be able to go back in and update that or no?
It depends on what the company you choose offers. Some companies only have delete tunes, and some only have emission compliant tunes, but some have both. So find a company that offers both then you can run an emission complaint tune for now, then when you are ready to delete just switch the tune, no problem.
OK, nubie here, How do we find links for tunes.....I am in the USA and this seems to be the secret thing?
this has probably been asked but where do you get your tunes from? I have an LML I want to delete. for off road of course. :)
I use Proven Diesel in Canada. Great customer service!
Cody Hawk- find him on Fb in the LML forums
@@fireball5211 Cody wont touch it..
So I'm a little confused can you tune your truck with the EZ Lynk without getting D Kits (trying to watch wording lol). I heard that you can tune without the truck losing weight but wasn't sure if thats true or not.
Yes you can run emission compliant tunes that still use your egr, dpf and def
I have a question about deleting. When you take the dpf off, do you have to take the egr off too or will the tunes just disable it?
Because my understanding is it’s just the float in the tank that tells the ecm what level the fuel is at, so if you put a bigger tank In the float would still work the same
@@darkirondiesel thank you for
The quick reply. I had a 60 gallon Titan Fuel tank installed. I’ve seen other companies will send you an easy link for free just to update the fuel
Tank size in the computer so your DTE is recalibrated.
$499 is just for the blank auto agent.. the other one for $1200 would include tuning and probably lifetime support
Got a 2019 f250, could I use this since I'm still running stock
I have a question
Can you use ez lynk with various trucks not just one?
In other words can I tume my truck then tune my friends trucks?
With the same tuner
Kind of... the ez lynk auto agent is just a way to get the tunes onto your truck. So you can pay the money to link your truck to ez lynk, program your truck, then unplug the auto agent. Then your friend can pay the money to link his truck and you can go plug your auto agent into his truck and install the tunes same as you did on your truck. So yes it works on multiple trucks but each truck you have to pay to link it to EZ Lynk. If that makes sense.
@@darkirondieselThank you for the info very helpful 👍
Thinking about doing ez lynk or Banks power, do you need to leave the ez lynk in your truck if using shift on the fly.
No I’m pretty sure you just load a shift on the fly tune on the ecm, and install the dial switch, and then you can unplug the auto agent.
I think my ecm is already hosed. Can can ez links get me back to factory before doing other things? Or do I have to get bent over at the stealership?
@@darkirondiesel okay, then that's why. Guess I'll be checking to see how nice this guy is ha. Ty
Can you add an egt sensor to the ez link and view it on your tablet or phone?
Yup you bet
I can see the gauges and clear codes if need be.
Just need the other things but need an acct or agent.
Still learning myself
What do I need to run pulling 15k 5th wheel.
2018 F-250 with ez link auto agent
If you tune your truck do you have to install straight pipes? Or can you leave all that stuff on?
If you tune the truck with emission compliant tunes then you leave everything on, but if you are tuning it with delete tunes you HAVE to install an aftermarket exhaust to get rid of the DPF system. You can leave the EGR on though, typically you just unplug it if you are leaving it on.
@@darkirondiesel interesting. I am not very knowledgeable about diesels in general, can you explain to me what an emissions tune is as opposed to a +hp tune?
So you can use any device correct doesn't have to have an internet connection? Say i wanted to use an old phone laying around for a monitor?
Yup you bet you could totally do that
So I just recently had my truck worked on.
What's the latest on ezlynk getting sued. My truck having exhaust issues! It's time to go.
I wouldn’t worry about it
Hey bud, is there a EGT kit that works with ez lynk? Or do you recommend a regular guage?
You can get egt sensors for ez-lynk but I’d only do that if you are planning on mounting a tablet or old iPhone in the truck to monitor when driving. If you aren’t then I would get an edge cts3 monitor with egt pyro.
