VQ HAIRLESS JOE P-47 Thunderbolt unboxing

I'm unboxing a VQ all wood ARF version of the P-47 Thunderbolt "Hairless Joe"
Flown by Col. David Schilling
One of seven P-47's assigned to Schilling. He flew this aircraft the day he downed 5 enemy aircraft on 23 December 1944 raising his final score to 22.5. "Zemke's Wolfpack" P-47's commonly painted the popular cartoon characters of Al Capp's "Dogpatch".
The kit is excellent finishing, with good panel lines and with some scale inconsistencies, something that some love can solve, like the wheel pants, supercharger exhaust, decals size, etc.
The rest is really nice and easy to assemble.
I plan to power it with a NGH 17cc 2T petrol engine.

Beautiful plane…. I’m looking for a 1400mm old P-47 to be scale to my P-51s. Big plane 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻

To compare to the 1400 P-51 you need a 1700 P-47. It's a huge beast 😁

It’s a e- flite 1220mm P-51s. I’ve got 1200mm P-47s but want a old 1400mm👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
