Some Doosan skid steers do also use pilot control joysticks, but more common for the Doosan skid steers is levers and foot pedals with linkages, but no electric over hydraulic for Doosan skid steers.
If you don’t mind me asking what sort of hours do you start seeing problems ? I’ve been looking around for a tl130 they are hard to come across. Thanks.
@@jonathantaylor6926 honestly if you keep up the general maintenance you won't have many issues the biggest thing you'll run into is the tracks when they need to be replaced but that is thousands of hours down the road. Your most common issue will be you Regen system but as long as you run them hot you'll be golden
My guess to why they took the track off is because they were in the process of repairing the final drive and found out it was going to be a very expensive repair and decided to sell it to get rid of it
My komatsu mini excavator calls for 15w-40 for hydraulic fluid. Asked the dealer about it and they said they don’t use engine oil in the equipment they service. I put AW46 in it and never looked back. They said a lot of manufacturers spec engine oil so you don’t have to buy different oils. My opinion is hydraulic systems should use hydraulic oil. Great video.
My 2006(?) toro z597 uses 10w30 engine oil for its hydraulic system. Im wondering which part of it from its hydro pumps, wheel motors, fan motor and spindle motor (off the top of my head) would require the different additive or weight of oil
it was no doubt running when that final went out,,,unless it got water in the exhaust and is locked up ,hes good..KNOWING AHEAD OF TIME THIS HAD A FINAL OUT,I WOULD BET HE GOT THIS REAL CHEAP..
I ran old blast drills and the hydraulics leaked so much it was cheaper to just top up with 10w30 vs hydraulic fluid 🤣🤣 "run it till the mechanic gets here"
It’s almost like having a Tesla what’s the purpose of having that type of vehicle when it costs you money to repair it if it can be repaired I also hate that everything is done electronical now a days
Have you ever thought that the reason why you have a job is to fix things that other people don’t have any experience in fixing it because you went to college for what you do and the owner of the machine you are working on didn’t go to college for the job you are doing
Really wanted to watch the video but couldn’t get past a few minutes of the constant immature chatter. Try not to say everything that comes to your mind.

That bar on the back of the skidsteer was for a mirror
We mainly run taks since they provide lots of cab room
Never worked on those loaders but takeuchi make awesome mini excavators. Tough, reliable and pleasant to operate.
kubotas makes theres so simple and easy to service and work on wich kubota had smart engineering
I want a barn find skid steer. or just a skid steer in general, great video as always!
Thanks Oz!
I enjoyed your video! I recently bought a high hour used SSL that hadn't seen the best maintenance in the world so I can certainly empathize with you.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.

I work on takeuchis for a living and just about had a heart attack seeing this poor tl140

@@blackdeath3237heard they’re one of the most reliable machines on the market? Do you agree?

all set! added air to my battery, water to the hydraulics, and backed off the oil filter 🎉🎉

Great video as usual guys!!
Thanks Terry!
Those are imo 2 of the best machines ever made. I’ve ran one of those for years and it honestly never let me down. Yanmar and taks, fk the rest.
Tl140 has Isuzu no?

I'd rather have a high hr well maintained rig than a low hr machine that sat idle and was obviously neglected.
Cam needs a taco skid steer 😂
do the huge nipex channel locks have a part number?? i NEED a pair :)
How much do you want for it and where are you located?
That arm on the back is a mirror

That thing you didn’t know what it was was for a mirror on the back of the machine
Are you sure it wasn't in a flood ?
It was a fish eye mirror bracket
takeeoochi
Man you'd think people who spents thousands upon thousands to buy equipment will at least ya know take care of it? Jesus that abysmal
thats seems owner of it ingelected there maintance and cheap spend on parts luckky kubota filters and fluids are cheaper and adfordable
Go to equipment auctions, it's all junk unless economy is collapsing
@@joshhalderman2917 lucky kubota, case and komatsus gets more luck with them
@@joshhalderman2917 lucky kubotas here in canada getting good bunch of equipment in stock but the deere dealer still cant get theres lol
Most all hydrostatic machines use 10W30 for hydraulic oil.
I have a Kubota tractor that has over 10,000 hours it rolled over.

Love takeuchis
There skid steers at least, we use kobelco excavators and doosan loaders
Honestly might be better to put aw32 in it
SAE 30 WEIGT OIL FOR HYDAULIC FLUID is not uncommon

Your upper hose looks spliced
No that’s where the temp sensor goes in. It’s a aluminum tube with a threaded hole for the sensor
its for a mirror
Kubotas have pilot controls
Tuned this in to see what kind of condition the used machine was in. It is used what do you expect. Nonstop whine. Really gets old. Time to tune out.

I very much agree cam a mile better
Hes trying to hard, talks to slow like we are foreigners or something and don't understand 🤣
SPYDER with a Y, Cause IDK 🤣 WTF OVER
10k is nothing on those if taken care of. He's gotta speed up his talking points, to slow, im out. Gets boring. Rear bracket is for a mirror
