      No they are not the same but are related. A qualification in either of these courses can lead to working in the same environments, but the difference is in licensing requirements. Social workers have access to wider opportunities in terms of career progression and options eg if they decide to go into private practice they can access government rebates.

    • @CEOpaschal
      @CEOpaschal ปีที่แล้ว

      I also studied Political science too. Most Australia universities recommend that you need a bachelor degree in Human science, behavioral sciences or social science courses like political science or sociology to enrol in the masters in social work qualifying program. So yes, based on my research across several universities like Flinders uni, Federation uni etc, I believe that you are eligible for the masters program in social work (qualifying), which is a two-years program. The most important requirement besides a behavioral science or social science bachelor degree is the English language test scores as demanded as well as a strong work experience in a social work setting or community development initiatives... Also inquire directly with the university you wish to apply to.

    Hi Chioma
    A great fan of yours :)
    Need to check the course options available for the students who completed (BDS ) - Bachelor of Dental Surgery, but are not interested in continuing in that stream.
    From your video, understood MSW is an option, so I want to know which all course can be preferred other than MSW and easy way to PR

      Easy is relative. Your chances ultimately come down to whether you meet the migration requirements of any occupation you choose. What's easy for me may not come easy to another. You just have to take the time to look at the requirements of any occupation you are interested in and decide whether you meet them.

      Hi Winner, I am unfamiliar with the NARIC and have never seen it mentioned anywhere, so I am not sure if you can substitute that for IELTS.

    Hey Chioma, I noticed that there's a scammer on the comment section that is impersonating your profile status with your pic and a controversial number, with the aim of luring your viewers into reaching out to its number. Pls I would advise you to issue an scam alert, disclaimer or so to disown the impersonator. Thanks!

      @@lifewithchioma hi chioma i am a big fan of this channel. I have a few things I would like to discuss with you as you are an expert in this field. I would be glad if you respond
      Firstly, I applied to flinders university for msw graduate entry. They asked me to complete graduate certificate in society and individual as conditional to study msw there. So it costs me one more semester. It also mentioned that placement can be in any suburb area in sa so I will have to bear the whole travel cost and all. So will it allow me to do any part time work?
      Another thing is that is the courses of msw too hard? Is there any possiblity of retaking a few courses?
      I am a bit worried about the tuitions fees.
