    What beautiful soil, we never were in such grand stuff up north. Our equipment was basiclly the same makes, tractor drawn Grimme with a windrower on each, never stood idle plus a Grimme self propelled, we had an extender swift lift,it had to be full all the time, grader was also a Downes, but made to our boss's spec, when going was rough, we needed 8 on the grader & another 4 on the conveyers, we lifted 550+ acres each year, some for firms pack house, but mainly for Walkers crisps.

    Those are some good sized tatties there.
    New elevator seems to be some bit of kit. Especially being able to slue it without having to move it completely.

    Looks a nice sample Rob few nice sized leaders in a bag. Let’s hope Joe Public is prepared to pay a descent price for all your hard work and gamble on growing them. Conveyor working a treat making storage a simpler job

    Some crop of spuds mate. As for your storing your tatts, nothing wrong with being a perfectionist. Great job.

    A lot of people have packed up spuds around here or grow less ,its about time they were marketed better ,what happened to AHDB Potato ?

    • @fenfarming562
      @fenfarming562  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahdb potato no longer exists, that’s how much faith they have in the potato market ….. it’s done so people like the “big growers” can control the market

  • @robertsmith9810
    @robertsmith9810 ปีที่แล้ว

    when we grew vegetables for market , we probably grew 6/7 main crops , we had a chap who worked with us he was a great horse racing man who like a bet who used to do doubles and trebles i
    never really understood betting terminology , he said you do the same with growing 6/7 vegetable crops, but i know quicker if my bet has paid of

    Looks a very good crop to me, is it the irrigation that seems to almost eliminate the 'smalls' I get from my garden plot?
    Excellent video, thanks for finding time to make it.
