- Wonderfood Museum in Georgetown Penang is such a fun museum to visit with family, friends and especially if you're a super foodie like I am! You can learn a lot about the different types of food that Malaysia has to offer and see how the different cultures of this country influences that amazing street food and cuisine.
Even as a local, I really enjoyed my time in the museum, especially since I got to show my Scottish boyfriend the hundreds of variety of food that we have! He was shooketh. Scotland is pretty bland compared to Malaysia when it comes to food (that's the truth, ain't gonna lie), so he was super curious and impressed. Enjoy!

How can one not like a museum called Wonderfood. This looks like it would be really fun. When I lived in Seattle I want to the Theo Chocolate factory tour. It was amazing, they gave us so much chocolate we were bouncing off the walls. Then when it wore off we went in to a chocolate comas lol. OMG the over-sized food, what a great photo op! No. The museum showcases food from all around Malaysia. But there are restaurants nearby for authentic local Penang food 🙂
