    If there’s anything that revolves around food; like this one-of-a-kind Food Museum, we’d definitely have to check it out!
    Located in a colonial shophouse along Beach Street, the Wonderfood Museum is actually bigger than it looks from the outside. Right at the entrance, we’re being teased with some miniature food replicas hinting at what we can expect to see inside.
    There’s this corner showcasing all their awards and trophies too. Pretty convincing right?
    The entrance tickets are conveniently sold at the entrance but you could also get them online and if you’re interested. Get your tickets here!
    This whole area showcases life-sized replicas of Malaysian food and they were so incredibly accurate, it even made us drool a little. Every tiny bit of detail is accounted for. I mean the only thing that’s missing is the smell. Just take a look at all the variety of food we have in Malaysia. We really can’t help but feel like we’re in the middle of an open house buffet. They’re all fun and quirky art pieces to take photos of. There are still many other sections ahead. Who knew there are so many ways to make food this interesting!?

      I lost contact with many of my chinese frenz n colleagues, can I ask u something? Do u have a dog as a pet coz in my neighborhood, there r many chinese who don't train their dogs, n just keep on barking, day n nite. We all live in close proximity, n there r lots of people passing by n people doing errands, n those dogs keep on barking, not knowing d difference of intruders, I even saw many times, d owners dog keep on barking even when with their frenz. Very disturbing. Sorry to bother u. By d way, how do d chinese deal with d annoying noise from d barking dogs.

    • @PuriandSue
      @PuriandSue  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, we're in the same shoes as you. There's really nothing we can do about it except trying to sound proof our room 😅 We've got a pet cat at home that's much quieter unless it's super manja 😂

    • @Yasin_Affandi
      @Yasin_Affandi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@PuriandSue I like cats too. I feel they r more adorable. I've seen some people in d my neighborhood walking with their dogs, no barking at all, even d stray dogs, but d dogs compounded in d owner's house, I feel, r stressed dogs. Anyway, thanks for your kind reply. 😀

      @@PuriandSue Sorry that I shared some lame stories with u. D truth is after coming back from Mumbai with a depression almost ten years ago, I'm very sensitived with loud noises from barking dogs, loud music, loud motorcycles, loud cars, loud lorries, loud music, loud neighbors, even loud azans. I'm confined in my own lockdown for very long time now. Peace of mind is a blessing for all of us, but it's not entirely up to us. 😀

    • @PuriandSue
      @PuriandSue  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No worries @Yasin Affandi . You can always reach out to us anytime. Depression isn't something to take lightly. The dogs must've been extremely stressed out of their minds. I find it cruel that some owners keep them caged up all the time. Peace of mind is indeed a blessing. That's why I love the beach and nature. Puts me at ease

    Ooo that ice cream traditional in a plastic bag was also part of our childhood.
    Yup, I also used to buy it in front of my school back in Indonesia. Malaysian and Indonesia food and culture are very similar ♥
    I remember we ate these last year on our Kalimantan trip when we visited our friend and someone selling these in front of the house, and we knew we had to get them as it's very rare to see them now!
