What I do is use my 404sx for the drum and sample all my melodies and sounds into the 202. Then play everything together and record. I love my 202 nothing else is like it.

yeah, madlib was using the 303 during madvillainy. i think he made raid and fancy clown on a 303, though i could be wrong.

I can record music on my computer, but I choose the old way
This is ancient tech my guy. You can’t download anything to it. But if it has an audio output you can plug it into the SP and sample by hand.
You can play it from a computer into the inputs I'm pretty sure
