First time ** LIMIT ** of Crappie (Pre Spawn Crappie Fishing) Early March 2024

- In this video, I'm fishing early March for pre spawn crappie. This is my first time catching the LIMIT OF 25 and it was on fire. The baits I was using were small size minnows and the set-up was slip Bobber, slip shit #2 and Aberdeen # size 2 Hook. You know I always appreciate you watching Mr. Rick. They way you fish Mr. Rick I know you can hit that 30 no problem. Back in the days I would have been good with catching 8 or 12. I learned it takes determination and focus to hit that limit. I'm glad I was able to get it on video for everyone.
Limit Here is 30. Most I've gotten is 28. Limits are tough from the bank. Good work mane

Man me and my old man pulled 30 out of Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas back in October. The fishing there was amazing!!! Good fishing my brother.

Awesome video! I live in Gainesville fl area and you can't go on Newnans lake lochloosa lake and orange lake without catching a limit. 1.5 to 2lbs often orange lake you might hit close to 2.5 lbs and 3lbs
😲 WOW really.. Now do I need a boat or can I hit it from the bank or dock? 2.5lbs and 3lbs now that is a SLAB.

Nice Haul man! 👊 I have that same 10 foot mr crappie pole . I found it a little too soft for fishing a bobber. I like the ACC crappie six 7ft or 8 ft. Little pricey but worth it!
Thank you, I wanted to use it in the lily pads and try the tight line setup but that spot was too good. So I never moved.. I agree with you about the Mr. Crappie pole. I've never tried the ACC crappie stick. I see a lot of angles on TH-cam using them. I just never got one lol your right it is pricey.
You may be the only person I've seen catch a limit from land. Damn I'm trying this tomorrow 😂 thanks for the reinsurance it can be done ✅

I enjoyed the crap out of the video I love fishing I take my daughter and my son every chance I get to two rivers locally and several lakes. Needless to say there's plenty of bloopers I wish I'd have been able to catch on camera. I'll be watching in future. Have you used acc crappie stix rod/reels at all?
@mcomparato3593 Thank you, Fishing with the kids is always fun time and tons of bloopers lol. Now that things are starting to heat up I'm going to take my daughter Bluegill fishing. She loves it. I always seen some of the guys and other channels using the ACC crappie stick. Looks like an amazing setup I just never used it before.
@@mjsfishingadventures1455 right on and I was just curious if you had used it I'm hoping to get one sometime soon if works picked up. There are a few really good bluegill honey holes very close to me with some slab bluegill and some of the biggest shell crackers I've ever seen. I still love catching them as much as I did when first started fishing 40 years ago! Have fun out there!

That's what I'm working on now Bluegill and shellcracker.. I'm hearing they are starting to pickup in the areas. I talk to the old school angler all the time because they know everything lol.

Okay, the all black is a Bass Pro Shop brand Micro Lite Elite GREAT combo set. I had a gift card but the price is around $74.99. The long one is called SLAB Daddy 12 ft -2 pieces, the price was around $54.99 I think. I purchased that one at my local bait shop. I haven't seen it in Walmart but try other sporting retail stores you should find it.
