What a wholesome video man! Soft intro/exit music, no loud commentary, and tons of action. I think I got the most enjoyment out of just watching you enjoy a great day of fishing! You can hear it in your voice and laugh with each fish.
Yank!!! My nephew is catching them in Florida. He’s only keeping the 14” and over he says lol. He had a cooler half full when he sent me a picture. Man I love seeing you catch what you’re catching. Keep on keeping on. You da man catching these crappie. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
Nice Crappie! I have got into some big bream over in your area. Had a blast! Thanks for showing us the techniques that you are using. Maybe we will run into each other one day!
Water looks like it cleared up a little, and after tommorow I think, the duck slayers will be on break till next week, great video, I’m figuring to throw out anchor for about 3 days, do a little bow hunting to, gona try a couple more sloughs as well, just sorta relaxin and having a little fun fishn and whatnot
Yes sir. The duck hunters will have a short break. Maybe I will have a little more time to chase the slabs. 😆 Hope you catch some nice ones. Fish and Deer.
Yes sir I was always partial to a reverse also but I will say it's pretty easy to unwrap the line by hand. I have gotten used to him now but I did miss it for a while.
I would love to help one-on-one. It's just that there's a lot to learn, and time is a problem I am having right now. I will try to figure out some kind of a drawing or something where I could take a subscriber or watcher fishing with me. Hopefully going to have more time this spring to do stuff like that. We will see what happens. Thank you.
Don't I don't believe there is a rod limit. But there is a limit on how many hooks you can fish at one time which is 100. Yes I have seen people spider rig fishing here before.
At the time I bought it, it's very popular sonar. I actually had a smaller lowrance I was using before this one. I like Both of them for what I am doing.
I have a hard time getting crappie in the winter. We don’t have harsh winters here in South Carolina but it does get cold for a little bit. Is it still possible to troll for them in the winter? Will they be in the creeks at all or move down into the lake system into deeper water?
Yes sir they will be some in the creeks and some in The lakes. I would definitely try trolling one afternoon and just see what happens. We have duck hunters in the morning so I do most of my crappie fishing in the evening now and been having great luck.
@@FishYanker that’s great to know. I believe it was you who had said wait to go out in the day until the water has warmed up basically at it’s highest temperature in the winter time and the crappie should be more active during that time which make sense.
Most all these lakes I fish or part of Cache River. Below interstate 40 there is a boat ramp on highway 70 under the bridge to Cache River. Go up string and adventure to the right and left creeks, most end up in small lakes.
To catch more fish. It's the best of both worlds. All the color attractants you need from a jig and real live bait scent and taste. Hard to beat this kind of combo.
What's up "YANKER"? Hey, I went fishing with my Nephew and Great Nephew Friday. And we didn't even get a "nibble", and this is my spot where I "know" they are at. Minnows, Jig's, and Crawler's, but nothing. What the "heck" were we doing wrong 🤷🏾♂️🤔?
What time of the day was your fishing. You will have days like that every once in awhile but most of the time it's the feeding time. My best times are between 10:00 and 12:00 A.M and 2:00 to 4:00. P.M.

Thank you. I appreciate that. I do love fishing. It's fun chasing, catching and good eating. 😁
Another great video of catching crappie!
Thank you. Appreciate you watching.
Hey Yanker! Great video! Looking forward to the next one!
Thank you. I appreciate you watching. Yes sir I have another one soon.

Nice. That's what I'm talking about, slabs. You can fill a cooler fast when you have crappie that size. Thank you Proud Papaw 😊
Do you know what area he fish
@Rdizil-ox1ye Cache River.
@@ProudPapaw88 do you know where your nephews fish n fl
@@Rdizil-ox1ye I will try to find out what lake he fishes on, for sure. 👍

Thank you. Nice 👍. love fighting these big Bluegills. Fun fish to fight and good eating. 😁 Yes Sir, hope to catch you there.

I love the looks of that reel except it doesn't have a reverse switch. Gotta have one of those. The Phleuger reels don't have it either. Bummer...
Yes sir I was always partial to a reverse also but I will say it's pretty easy to unwrap the line by hand. I have gotten used to him now but I did miss it for a while.
Man you have some good fishing spots im gonna have to try the hair jig with minnow
Thank you. Cache River. Yes sir it's a good combo
I would love to come fish with you so I can learn how to catch crappie please consider it

Thanks for sharing. How deep were you fishing?
Yes sir, thank you for watching. My casting rod I was fishing 18 in deep. My trolling poles are 1 and a half to two and a half foot deep.
How many rods are you allowed there? Im assuming different lakes have different rules. Could you spider rig with 6-8 there?
Don't I don't believe there is a rod limit. But there is a limit on how many hooks you can fish at one time which is 100. Yes I have seen people spider rig fishing here before.
Was there a defining reason you went with Humminbird over the Lowrance?
At the time I bought it, it's very popular sonar. I actually had a smaller lowrance I was using before this one. I like Both of them for what I am doing.

Hey Yanker where you fishing at ?
Cache River
All you said about your rods can be said about tree limbs.
My fishing rods work good like a Cypress tree limb. They're pretty tough.
5:12 this be the hardest part
Yes sir. I get it. I will work on that.
@ I’m saying I’ve been there done that many times you ain’t gotta work on nun, it happens.
You are right, it sure does.
I do not understand why guys put minnows and a jig.
To catch more fish. It's the best of both worlds. All the color attractants you need from a jig and real live bait scent and taste. Hard to beat this kind of combo.
That minnow will work the jig too.
@WhateverUsayOk yes Sir, A deadly combination used together.

@FishYanker We were out there from 10am to about 2pm. And Thanks for the information, I'll remember those times.
Yes sir. 😊 Hope you catch some good ones
