    To print those parts faster you can replace to 0.6 nozzle, it will decrease the time dramatically. Just checked in the slicer and each straight parts will take just 45 minutes

      @@RoadsideRC Indeed. I also found out that when space is limited , adding a timing system can open a world of challenges and competitions even on a very small track (here is an example from my living room: th-cam.com/video/JVD5bsZgM2o/w-d-xo.html )

    Oh man those 3d printed curbs are the JAM! I have an ender3 and adjusting infill could make it faster too. Garden wall on the outside edges could be the ultimate combo. Nice! I have a 66 vette in my 3 car garage but if i back it out i could have quite the track layout with the bumpers taped down! Thanks man!!!

    thanks for providing the 3D print files! Might try and suggest some locals to use them for their tracks instead of using normal tapes. However the video seems more focused on track layout instead of surfaces though, would love to see you suggest what kind of surfaces (or p tiles) a beginner should learn to drift on to start practicing

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you!
      Yes - not focused on the surface - I should have added that!!
      My suggestion is always to use the slickest surface and hardest tire possible. It is more difficult, but if you can drift on that - you can drift anywhere.

    I'm glad you made this because just a few months ago I spent a lot of time searching for basic track info. I did wind up finding the garden edging but this would have been very helpful. I'm sure this will help anyone looking to make a home track like I was. Love the idea of the 3D print tracksides and barriers. I wonder if it would be cost prohibitive to sell a set or sets on something like shapeways or similar service? I don't know if they require any upfront investment by the seller. Undoubtedly they take a commission on all sales
