Do you know how old that 6.3l V12 is ? It has just been improved every year. Same is the case with Lamborghini. The regular Aventador had 691 HP and the upcoming 'SVR' will have 820 HP. Every manufacturer does this. They can't just develop a whole new car every couple of years. And aero gimmick ? The SVJ is like 40 seconds faster around the Nurburgring than the regular Aventador.
I find that gear selector to be a cruel joke. Manuals are dying and here comes Ferrari trolling something which was so iconic and satisfying in their cars of old.

Not really. Just about all allocations have been sold, and less than 10 allocations went to Ferrari of Beverly Hills. While only 40% so far has been specced with the Assetto Fiorano pack, these have for the most gone to people who drive their cars a lot. My local dealer was allocated 24 SF90 and they went within a month, and 18 of the takers are running the Challenge series. Trust me, it's a car for drivers. Lamborghini will as usual cater to the Rodeo Drive crowd.
The c 8 is cheap imitation of a the Ferrari with Camaro taillights. Nothing more. Definitely not the road car/drivers car that Ferrari has a reputation for. However, I will digress by saying the c8 is definitely a welcomed advance of the engineering and and forward thinking for an American muscle car. A welcomed step forward.

1 note on the Top Gear Test Track Lao time’s is that the GT2 RS was picked up at a dealership, driven to the track to film and do the lap then driven back to the dealership. The pista is the quickest track car you can buy right now, has won engine of the past 2 decades, and arguably looks the best. This new SF90 will be the quickest straight line mass production car you can buy. I'm expecting low 2 sec 0-60's and easily 9 sec 1/4mile times. And it'll probably lap insanely quick too
Russell Coight the 488, which the pista is based off of is one of the worst Ferrari designs of our time. Almost everyone owns a Pista, it’s as common as a normal 488. Unlike the 458 Speciale, which became a true icon the minute it came out. Not to mention how rare it was to even see one on the road and how even now people still recall the glorious era of the 458. Ferrari didn’t even try hyping up the Pista Aperta because no one cared about it. I bet you not many even know that there was an Aperta version. Mclaren, Porsche, and even Lamborghini have excelled beyond Ferrari in design wise, speed, and quality. P.S. don’t get me wrong, I love Ferrari. I’m just very passionate about cars so I may come off like I’m just hating on Ferrari.

Design wise I think the laferrari was a mess to , the front all angular and the rear all curvy , doesnt match and they've tried to mirror the shape of the windows in the side intake which looks weird , nah personally i dont like any new ferraris , the 458 is the last one i would want .
The rear is very F430-ish, especially with the 4 taillights and even the exhausts are reminiscent of the Scuderia. I like the SF90's looks, I just wish it wasn't so over-designed.
Overall this design is the polar opposite of what the LaFerrari was, this thing doesn’t really impress you all too much in the looks department, especially at the rear, but the LaFerrari just leaves you breathless
MIGUEL GOMEZ doesn’t compare to neither of those as it’s one level above the standard V8 models but definitely a level lower than the LaFerrari. It’s a new product segment for Ferrari. Also I’d accept getting slapped in the face if it was part of getting to buy the LaFerrari at sticker price
I don't see why so many people are complaining. It either looks too much like a 458 (which it doesn't look anything like) or it's too different from the 458. If you want a more traditional Ferrari get the F8 Tributo. This car is meant to present new possibilities for Ferrari and shows that they are embracing the inevitability of electrification. It's supposed to have a different look both internal and externally (it has to do to the new drive train and chassis), it's supposed to move the brand in a new direction. You aren't going to see super smooth looking supercars from any brand in the future because of the laws of aerodynamics.

SF90 is a response to NSX
4:50 E Drive = Up to 15mph in all electric alone. NSX has this mode first and it was released few years ago.
Ferrari is still on top, McLaren are fast but they are unreliable and catch on fire. Ferrari still makes good looking cars that has a soul.

This will be scary fast on a track, considering how the 488 Pista is wiping the floor with pretty much every car on the market other than Senna.
Senna's function over form definitely has the edge over the Ferrari's but Ferrari does it properly balancing the performance with sheer beauty and giving the best fun of all the supercars. Senna's looks aggressive but is ugly.
Is the Pista faster than a 720s? I’d take a Pista over the Senna all day, at least the Ferrari doesn’t make me feel sick when I look at it
1 note on the Top Gear Test Track Lao time’s is that the GT2 RS was picked up at a dealership, driven to the track to film and do the lap then driven back to the dealership. The Pista was taken in a lorry by Ferrari and a team of 10 mechanics who prepped the car for the lap. Ferrari also have a history of turning the boost up on press cars.

Funny how people always criticize the italians and what they do. People always throw stones at italian cars but then months or years later we see those people favorite manufacturers doing the exact same thing and it becomes a very cool feature in a sudden. Lol

For many years Ferrari was styled by Pininfarina. Now it has its own style center where students make such shitty cars. Its much cheaper, and Ferrari's management don't cares because of the client's loyalty. People would buy it even Ferrari would look like a scolopendra
@@roccodallago1015 - Me? Personally? Not really. Most cars they've made after the F430 have just been overstyled to death. The only exceptions to me lately have been the F12 and the Portofino, and that's just because those have graceful, elegant, classy lines to them. Ferraris never used to be about looking like rocket ships. Go look at any classic Ferrari and how beautifully simple they were with their styling.

Even though this car is getting a lot of heat for its design, i think they'll be selling like hotcakes.
Ofc they will. Ferrari is the Louis Vuitton of cars. Slap that Ferrari badge or LV monogram on anything and it will sell like hot cakes. They don’t care about horsepower, engine type, or the craftsmanship or type of leather. They just want the bragging rights to say I own a Ferrari or LV toilet seat.

The pista is the quickest track car you can buy right now, has won engine of the past 2 decades, and arguably looks the best.
This new SF90 will be the quickest straight line mass production car you can buy. I'm expecting low 2 sec 0-60's and easily 9 sec 1/4mile times. And it'll probably lap insanely quick too
Russell Coight the 488, which the pista is based off of is one of the worst Ferrari designs of our time. Almost everyone owns a Pista, it’s as common as a normal 488. Unlike the 458 Speciale, which became a true icon the minute it came out. Not to mention how rare it was to even see one on the road and how even now people still recall the glorious era of the 458.
Ferrari didn’t even try hyping up the Pista Aperta because no one cared about it. I bet you not many even know that there was an Aperta version.
Mclaren, Porsche, and even Lamborghini have excelled beyond Ferrari in design wise, speed, and quality.
P.S. don’t get me wrong, I love Ferrari. I’m just very passionate about cars so I may come off like I’m just hating on Ferrari.

Hints of Mclaren and Lamborghini from the front quarter. A very pretty car, with insane numbers... Not sure about the controls going touchscreen though, and that gear selector looks like nonsense 😒

It looks amazing. But it seems like McLaren and Chevrolet Corvette had a baby. LaFerrari is still unbeaten if you ask me.
Design wise I think the laferrari was a mess to , the front all angular and the rear all curvy , doesnt match and they've tried to mirror the shape of the windows in the side intake which looks weird , nah personally i dont like any new ferraris , the 458 is the last one i would want .

The rear is very F430-ish, especially with the 4 taillights and even the exhausts are reminiscent of the Scuderia. I like the SF90's looks, I just wish it wasn't so over-designed.

MIGUEL GOMEZ doesn’t compare to neither of those as it’s one level above the standard V8 models but definitely a level lower than the LaFerrari. It’s a new product segment for Ferrari. Also I’d accept getting slapped in the face if it was part of getting to buy the LaFerrari at sticker price

I don't see why so many people are complaining. It either looks too much like a 458 (which it doesn't look anything like) or it's too different from the 458. If you want a more traditional Ferrari get the F8 Tributo. This car is meant to present new possibilities for Ferrari and shows that they are embracing the inevitability of electrification. It's supposed to have a different look both internal and externally (it has to do to the new drive train and chassis), it's supposed to move the brand in a new direction. You aren't going to see super smooth looking supercars from any brand in the future because of the laws of aerodynamics.
