This recipe is great. I just made it myself and the fresh ingredients make the taste profile so much wider. You can really taste the garlic, ginger and lime juice. I love peanut sauce but i never made it myself so im used to it mainly tasting like peanut butter but this one is so flavourful and the slight hotness from the siracha finishes it perfectly. Ill never buy premade ones again. This one is just so good and so simple to make if you have the ingredients. Thanks for the recipe ❤

I found it a bit too sweet because of the maple syrup, so from now on i will reduce it to 1 table spoon. I also didn't have Sriracha so i used sweet chili sauce which of course also has a sweetness too it so it ended up being a little too sweet (partly my own fault i know) but i did like the combination of sweet chili and the peanut sauce so to match my taste i shall reduce the maple syrup to 1 table spoon and use sweet chili instead of Sriracha. (Maybe even omit the maple syrup all together idk how that would taste)

That is such an incredible recipe on a peanut butter background. Literally loved all the ingredients. I even loved the fact that you diluted peanut butter with water. A properly diluted and seasoned peanut butter is much easier to digest than the whole thing itself. Though the idea of whole peanut butter may sound delicious to every PB fan, it certainly is difficult to digest. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

You can try Gingersirop, thats original, pressed garlic and hot Chili flakes. You avoid the fresh Ginger in it. To me its not done to taste fresh Ginger. The whole sauce, we Cook it and it tickens in. We love as comming from the Netherlands Indonesian food. Also uses lemongras and turmaric and cumin.
This is what I used for testing, so I like to be specific when I talk about the ingredients. I'm not sure that a peanut butter made with added oils, sugars, or stabilizers will give you the same results, since I haven't tested it with that.
Make sure you're using a pure maple syrup (it should be dark and runny in texture) and not a pancake syrup that has other ingredients. The only ingredient on the label should be maple syrup.
Doesn't have to be soy-free; you can use regular soy sauce, too! I just try to be specific as possible, so you'll get the same results as the version I tested.

This is my favorite! Instead of water, I use coconut milk. Excellent flavors!
try coconut cream :P Only downside is it can hide the heat, but it adds a very subtle and delicious coconut flavor!
0:59 if you soak the ginger in water for a couple of mins, it makes it easier to peel.

Never use the term "The Best" we all have different expectation, to me this is a very simple version of peanut sauce

If you don't want to use soy sauce instead, you could just use extra salt to taste.

Please no maple syrup, you need Hoisin sauce instead.
Feel free to experiment with whichever ingredients you prefer! I believe Hoisin sauce is made with brown sugar and/or honey.
