  • Peanut noodles are a dish that's made with both noodles and peanut butter. As well as several other ingredients which also end up on the noodles and then end up inside your mouth. if you're doing it right.

    RECIPE
Based on this video by Geniuseatss vm.tiktok.com/...
    Instagram: ...
    TH-cam: / @geniuseatss
2 Tablespoons peanut butter (lets be real I used 3)
    1 Teaspoon soy sauce
    ½ Tablespoon rice vinegar
½ teaspoon sesame oil (let's be real I used a full teaspoon like a badass)
½ teaspoon sugar (I made it once without the sugar and it was still good)
1 teaspoon of chili oil (let's be real that's exactly how much I used)
2 cloves or garlic chopped finely
Wangjangle all of those things together
Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of hot water which you can add now or later. I added it just after the noodles finished cooking so that the sauce would be hotter going in
Boil 200 grams/7 ounces noodles. I used a bit less because I like my noodles drowning in sauce. That's also the reason I used more of all the other ingredients.
Then combinate those things and then also eat them.

Ok this was BOMB. BUT added more of these: sesame oil (maybe like 1 teaspoon) more sugar (1/4 teaspoon)
And then I added maple syrup (like literally around a tablespoon). Maple syrup made it super bomb 😋
I also added by mistake about 1/4 additional teaspoon of Tamari (I used Tamari instead of soy sauce)

Ive been a fan of peanut noodles for a long time, since I found a recipe that’s really flexible (as in, you can add veggies and/or make it non-veg). It’s one of my favorite meals to prepare if I want to impress someone now! Though I do use long, flat rice noodles instead - I put them in a container of warm water and let them soak while I make everything else, then add them to the sauce as the final step so they don’t overcook. 10/10

Honestly can confirm these are an addiction.
    My recipe is thus:
2-3 gloves of garlic pressed through a press
    Grate in ginger
Pour in 1.5 tablespoon each of soysauce and rice vinegar, let the vinegar kinda mellow out the ginger and garlic
1 teaspoon each of brown sugar and MSG
1 table spoon each sesame seed oil, chili crisp, and hoison sauce
Whisk together, then add 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, let sit, then whisk again.
Green onion and/or chives go great with it of course. I also like mine with soft boiled eggies

0:45 That's revolutionary right there, the technique of measuring things with the back of the spoon instead of the front. This is a game changer, I can't believe I was previously hooked in by Big Front Of Spoon

That peanut noodle addiction is no joke! I tried them last year n its been on my goto order ever since. And yes the sauce was alot easier to make then i thought "was just experimenting with ingredients"

You should try some peanut butter chicken. There is a Chinese restaurant in the next town over from me that has some and it is the bomb.

Bro literally just cook some spaghetti noodles and add peanut butter, chili flakes, and garlic to it. No need to find a Thai restaurant.

The water from the noodles could have been added to the sauce, instead you sacrificed it to the sink gods.

since the sauce is already thick as hell and the water is to dilute it, the extra starch isnt needed, so its fine

@@cate01a Noodle water is just starchy water which can be great for some pasta dishes. In this case it's not necessary to use but is convenient and already hot. Nothing gross about it.

Pro tip: use noodle water for the water you add to the soynutamelic buttericugarli, adds a bit more taste on top :D

You can try using sesame sauce as a replacement if you are not allergic to that. It is actually more authentic in Chinese cuisine to use sesame sauce than to use peanut butter.

    • @huwmm
      @huwmm ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@doug539 you need to check the ingredient list on the sesame butter, it is usually a mixture of sesame and peanut, e.g. 7:3. It is not that easy to find an Asian mart that stock pure sesame butter.
