Great video ....👍 very much enjoyed this one, as for the police stop 👏 nice one lads for being on the ball...would rather spend time with them showing documents as one day it might be someone stealing my bike !.....But the star is the wee bike 😊 So glad you enjoyed it....Stay Safe 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you🙂 Honda does not have them, I may join the queue or look second hand. I am more lone traveller, but never say never 👍

I really enjoyed this, travelling simply.
But living with midge in Scotland raises tolerance to another level !
And..if there were no midge here then all of our wide open spaces would very quickly become over developed..

Scottish people are tough💪 I always thought the Midges absolutely have no purpose on this planet and you just gave them one 🙂👍

I made the mistake of making a camping tour with my bicycle in 2014 to Skye. The midges were horrendous like a Hitchcock film dense swarms of them. I had hundreds of bites all over me in places I didn't even know I had despite wearing 4-5 layers of cycle clothing. In the end I abandoned and came home it was such a miserable experience. I vowed if I ever visited again it would be by motorcycle because surely the bastard midges cannot bite through leathers? I would also never ever camp again. Stay in BnB or hotels.
Some say the midges are the SNP's secret weapon to keep the English out. The Scottish Midge Party more like it.
How come your lovely lady didn't accompany you?
I would agree that a Honda CRF300 Rally would be a good choice. It is Itchy Boots current bike, although she upgraded the suspension.
I wouldn't want to ride a 125cc on motorways with big trucks and coaches. I would feel very vulnerable with them trying to get past you the whole time. Most cars travel at 80mph on the motorways which is quite a bit faster than a 125cc can manage.
How about an old Honda Transalp or indeed the new one? It is supposed to be very good.

They can get inside motorcycle gear for sure. Nothing wrong at all if you enjoy BnB 🙂 ..Scottish Midge Party🤣Lovely Lady was busy at that time and couldn`t come. It was alright on a motorway, I went mainly behind slow lorries doing slightly over 50 or behind cars towing caravans. I was considering Transalp in the past if Honda ever release a new one and they did, but I want something light like CRF is.

@@jansmatildasadventures5227 Thank you for your reply. I thought motorcycle clothing would be much better at protecting from midges. It is only the female that bites apparently. I would never camp again as the risk of getting badly bitten is very high. BnB or hotel has got to be safer. Anyway been there already and seen it. Not too bothered about never visiting again. This is what YT is for.
      ATB and safe riding.
