Another great trip thanks for the film - I also hate mummy bags and struggled to find a decent rectangular alternative. Outwell brought out a new bag a couple years ago the Canella it's available in 3 temp ratings, I have the the mid and cold weather (lux and supreme). I found the lux okay down to about 8 degress, I don't camp in really cold weather so not sure how effective the supreme is but it's much warmer than the lux and certainly good down to 6 degrees. Give me a shout if you want any more info.
Congrats on your first spring trip. Nice spot you found there. As for the sleeping bags - we use square down fill ones that can interconnect. In other words, when you use it alone - it's just a single square sleeping bag, but when you have two - you can zip them together making a double size bag. Throw in a nice sleeping bag liner and you have a king size bed in the tent. Perhaps you don't mind snuggling too so that's something you can look into when choosing new bags 😉
Glad you both managed to get away for a short break 👍 Yes first thing I invested in was a good -15 sleeping bag with room ! Even in summer I simply sleep with it open and temperature is perfect….Thanks for sharing your “Adventure”…..stay safe you both…🥃🏴
@@jansmatildasadventures5227 Hi guys sorry was away on a trip…I use the Naturehike cw400 …Get the large if you fancy one as more room…it’s a down so don’t roll it just scrunch pack. 🥃🏴

In normal bed one blanket it is, rules in the tent are stay away from my sleeping bag 🤣
Looks like a nice little spot for a camp
Nice spot but the rubbish there what people leave behind was beyond ridiculous 😕
@@jansmatildasadventures5227 that's a shame that a few spoil it for the many , I might visit this little spot myself soon
The beginning of April is very cold to be camping in Wales unless you have copious blankets and hot water bottles. Kind regards.
I’m off to wales in a couple weeks for a little Moto wild camp, Hope if find a place as good as this!
