She was actually Andy's lamp, at least one of. She was seen in Toy Story as a porcelain figure on that lamp. So it's revealed in Toy Story 4 that she got hand me downed to Molly, then gave her up.
@@Mirrorcomics24 Bo Peep became Molly's as a hand me down. She used to be Andy's, her lamp was on one of Andy's bedside tables on the first Toy Story. At that time and on Toy Story 2, Molly was still an infant.
Yea. I’m not a big fan of the inner voice. Behind Woddy Buzz is supposed to be the smartest toy in my opinion and I don’t really like how buzz was naïve
it could be explained by all his resets in TS3, and also after that big tv fell on him in the dump. He had a bit of a jerky moment, like he was broken, right after that, so it could've had lasting effect on him.
When Buzz was trying to fly at the carnival I was waiting! I was on the edge of my seat I was so ready for this!!! But it never happened I just wanted him to say “FALLING WITH STYLE”
TheAnonymousGamer when the Pixar logo comes out again, duke caboodles comes out and poses on the ‘i’ until it goes down. Then attic combat Carl comes out and duke gives him a high five
Austin Chavis That’s what I was waiting for the whole time I know this will never happen but I want a toy story 5 and the toys meet up again and all of Andy’s toys somehow go back to him and get played with by Andy’s son just how Andy played with them
I was expecting this since we started in 1995 and we grew up with Andy at the same time but now we’ve already graduated college and Andy’s still like 18. I would have liked if they kept the kids who grew up with Andy on the same timeline.
I saw this video in my subscription page and wanted to watch it so bad, but I didn't want to get any spoilers. So when I watched the movie today I ran home, sat on my bed, turned on my phone, and watched this video. I found your channel a few days ago and watched almost all your videos in these couple of days. Love your videos and especially love your theories. Great video and keep up the great work.
I 100% agree with what you've both said. Great movie, but lacked the sentimentality and emotion that would be expected after toy story 3. You guys said it right. Also, NO SHORT FILM?
I've heard this described, and I agree, this is basically an in-depth epilogue rather than a second ending for the series. Also, you guys didn't see the girl at the carnival with pigtails and Boo's shirt (that actually fits now)?
Remember that it was after Toy Story 2, so he probably changed appearance in that scene. He's going to look different than the original because he's older. Between the original kid Andy and Toy Story 3 Andy, like a transition from young Andy to Andy as an adult.
The toy rebels against humans and fight in a hilarious or scary war like chucky and eventually leave the world for cars to take over ... like that company dinoco (*if I'm saying it correctly) that showed up a rise if the machines CARS 😱 be kind to your cars lads be kind
@@Penguinmanereikel In Toy Story 3, the first time we see Lotso, he's on a toy with wheels, being rolled into the scene. In Toy Story 4, we see Gaby Gaby for the first time in a stroller
It could be because they don’t depend on editing to break down movies like some of the other channels do. They have done it so often that holding a dialogue for that duration is basically second nature. When two people that share an interest converse, the talk can go on for hours XD
TS1 TS2&3 TS4. To me the movie wasn’t necessary but if they were planning on making a 4th at least have it years in the future and up to where Bonnie is older and Andy has his own family and she returns the toys to his kids. That would’ve been a full circle.
All I have to say is... I NEEDED MORE JESSIE and to people who may say “well this one was about bo as the main female lead...” I say WHY NOT TWO BADASS FEMALE LEADS
UMMMMM What about Giggles McDimples or whatever her name was?????? WE HAVE TWO, WHY NOT THREE BADASS FEMALE LEADS XD jk Giggles was a really pointless character
1. Toy Story 3 2. Toy Story 2 / Toy Story 4 4. Toy Story I never expected 4 to rival 3, which IMHO is a genuinely perfect movie, but it was about on par with 2. Shortcomings like the lack of activity for many of the original toys were made up for by the brilliant new toys (Duke and Forky stole the show) and the heartwrenching storyline.
So...about the bit where the toys are always so careful around humans...did you guys forget Toy Story 1? Where they all reveal they are alive to and attack Cid? Yep. Pretty careful. Lol
@@kyronim To that point, the humans never actually saw the toys moving about or anything in 4. In 1, the point of the scene was them revealing that they are alive to Cid specifically.
Shereen Ghazi Forget about that the security that helped that girl and her teacher were the same person that means she works two jobs but with a teachers salary I would not be suprised
Gotta disagree with you guys about the goodbyes not being all that emotional. I cried a LOT at the end. I really liked the "to infinity and beyond" moment as the camper drives away
The ending made me said and empty. Now I hope they make a 5th reuniting the group. Now Disney and Pixar has made people like me curious about Bonnie’s reaction to Woody’s disappearance and how the group copes without their friend, etc. In all honesty, everyone wants more and more, but Disney and Pixar should’ve ended it at the 3rd, because now they might have to make another one give a solid ending to the movie series.
I think Toy Story 4's ending was intentionally designed to make you feel sad and empty. Whether this is because Pixar is sticking a giant middle finger to Disney for forcing them to make another Toy Story, or because Disney has been forcing the theme of "let it go" into movies ever since the success of Frozen.
@@ashtongiertz8728 Actually its not just a middle finger to Disney, its a huge middle finger to what the entire franchise stood for since 1995. It also betrays Andy's final wish. And Bonnie would definately cry in agony losing Woody, especially given how much she cares for him.
When Bo Peep says "Who's the canuck with all the luck" (may be a little off), it reminded me of the theme song for Donald Duck, "Who's that duck with all the bad luck, no one but Donald Duck"
I enjoyed Toy Story 4 but I was also waiting for the emotional part that the references to the VAs set up. Just...waiting...to really...tear up... The movie was good, and definitely enjoyable enough for a rewatch or a few, but not exactly what I expected.
Ok so the reason the voice actors were super emotional recording the last scene is alot more personal because they have had these caricatures to call there own for a long Time as an actress and creative writer I can vouch that you get attached to your characters and the carriers that are there frends and family so it was more the voice actors saying goodbye to there best frends in the form of these caricatures. If that makes sense
Sally yeah, her being thrown in the box by Harmony was brilliant, even though I kind of knew that was going to happen to her. And it just goes to show that no matter how perfect you try to make yourself, it doesn't mean people have to like you. Nice to meet you btw
Oh I definetly cry with the first Toy Story 1. When Buzz finds out he's not actually a space ranger and tries to fly but fails and just falls. 2. When they fly (a.k.a. Fall with style)... It gets me.
@@bumblebeegamerreal I just finished his series. Completely blew me away. I had misgivings when I saw the movie and I didn’t really know why until he spelled it out. It just didn’t feel right

Also.... why was there not a Pixar short?!
So if there are Wall-e, Eve, AND the Good Dinosaur toys, and we have seen Lightning as a toy in Toy Story 3, can we assume that the Onward theory that it is part of Andy's imagination is true of every Pixar film? Like. Every film is just some kid playing with toys? Makes sense sense Toy Story was the first Pixar film.

Am I the only one who never realized Bo Peep was a lamp?
She was actually Andy's lamp, at least one of. She was seen in Toy Story as a porcelain figure on that lamp. So it's revealed in Toy Story 4 that she got hand me downed to Molly, then gave her up.
Kelsey Argabrite I Thought She Was A Doll :/
Lesteryay Trippy no she’s mollys lamp but just like mrs potato head Andy took her from her
@@Mirrorcomics24 Bo Peep became Molly's as a hand me down. She used to be Andy's, her lamp was on one of Andy's bedside tables on the first Toy Story. At that time and on Toy Story 2, Molly was still an infant.
Lesteryay Trippy no she’s mollys Andy uses her as a toy
Totally agree. This movie ruined Buzz by making him out of character.
YOU ARE A TOY
I felt the same way. Buzz really threw me off, which was surprising and a little disappointing.
kinginfinity I totally agree
When Buzz was trying to fly at the carnival I was waiting! I was on the edge of my seat I was so ready for this!!! But it never happened I just wanted him to say “FALLING WITH STYLE”
Did anyone else stay until the very end and see that guy finally get a high five?
Backstgefan and Littlebbeight WHAT?!! NOOOO I missed it!
TheAnonymousGamer when the Pixar logo comes out again, duke caboodles comes out and poses on the ‘i’ until it goes down. Then attic combat Carl comes out and duke gives him a high five
IKR
“Not all who wander are lost” - perfect way to sum up Bo and Woody’s stories in this movie.
I think one of the frog stuffed animals at the end were the same ones Lotso was on the truck grill with in Toy Story 3
I think a more emotional ending would have been a fast forward to the future and the toys end up back with Andy as he just had a baby boy
Austin Chavis
That’s what I was waiting for the whole time
I know this will never happen but I want a toy story 5 and the toys meet up again and all of Andy’s toys somehow go back to him and get played with by Andy’s son just how Andy played with them
I was expecting this since we started in 1995 and we grew up with Andy at the same time but now we’ve already graduated college and Andy’s still like 18. I would have liked if they kept the kids who grew up with Andy on the same timeline.
Yesssssss toy story 5
y'all just completely ignore the fact that there wasn't a short beofre Toy Story 4!! What happened?
The first Toy Story didn’t have one either hmm
The outcry on coco was so nasty that they stopped doing that in general
@@arnavs2306 Bao was the short before Incredibles 2 last year.

Boi, IKR
I saw this video in my subscription page and wanted to watch it so bad, but I didn't want to get any spoilers. So when I watched the movie today I ran home, sat on my bed, turned on my phone, and watched this video. I found your channel a few days ago and watched almost all your videos in these couple of days. Love your videos and especially love your theories. Great video and keep up the great work.
you cant convince me that you didnt shed at least one tear when they said “to infinity...” “...and beyond” because that was heart-breaking
I didn’t... to me, the third was better in its timing :p
I didn't, part 3 was the best with Woody's "So long, partner."
Jeweliet i did to me i feel like that ending scene where they say goodbye was the most emotional scene for me
Movie wasn’t that emotional tbh
Jeweliet it didn’t get me at all. TS3 did tho!
I totally agree, the Gabby Gabby rejection and subsequent finding of her kid were the most emotional for me❤️
Tiffany Gibbons same,
That was just anti climatic
I 100% agree with what you've both said. Great movie, but lacked the sentimentality and emotion that would be expected after toy story 3. You guys said it right. Also, NO SHORT FILM?
J: is this the best toy story??
Ben: no
Way to put the suspense to bed real fast Ben 😂😂👏🏻
I feel that1 and 2 are the same level
@@stefankitzinger6795 No, it was the right way around. Ben on the left, J on the right.
You're both correct. They each say it at the beginning.
0:22 is the way Austyn says (Ben answers) and
3:14 is the way Stefan says (J answers).
My thoughts exactly lol
we stan an honest legend🤣🤣
J : let’s figure out if Toy Story 4 is the best Toy Story
Ben : ITS NOT
Me: 😂
I've heard this described, and I agree, this is basically an in-depth epilogue rather than a second ending for the series.
Also, you guys didn't see the girl at the carnival with pigtails and Boo's shirt (that actually fits now)?
Nobody:
Forky: Why am I alive
TrAsH
Kim Jong-un actually I say that everyday :)
😂 “Trash?”
@@VicCityTravels that's everyone.
Forky: I aM TrASh!
Me: I can relate.
A113 was in the antique store and the easter egg for Onward was when they're at the carnival, there's a dragon in one of the store signs.
They changed Andy's design as a kid. He looks the same as a college student but why so different as a kid😅
Akif A probably because the original two movies were animated in the 90s. Animation has changed a lot since then
Remember that it was after Toy Story 2, so he probably changed appearance in that scene. He's going to look different than the original because he's older. Between the original kid Andy and Toy Story 3 Andy, like a transition from young Andy to Andy as an adult.
"Are kids supposed to be the villains of this story?"
Y'all remember 'Toy Story 1', yes? :P
Let's be real. The PARENTS are the villain of every single Toy Story movie LOL. XD
honestly thought Bo Peep was gonna be a twist villain.... well, i thought it was a good idea
AlienBob236 same!
I kept waiting for the twist but it never happened
@@masonrichins9071 the twist was gabi gabi being rejected by Harmony
My husband was super convinced of that too. could have been, interesting?
The twist, Woody was Forky dad.
I would like to point out that the combat Carl toy is what Sid blows up in the first movie
Mini Man he’s also the toy that helps jessy in the short Halloween video
The real question we haven’t talked about
Where dose TS4 fit into the Pixar Theory?
My thoughts EXACTLY!!!
The toy rebels against humans and fight in a hilarious or scary war like chucky and eventually leave the world for cars to take over ... like that company dinoco (*if I'm saying it correctly) that showed up a rise if the machines CARS 😱 be kind to your cars lads be kind
Probably about three years after monsters inc in the human world but one year after TS3
So do you know where Toy Story 1,2 and 3 fit in? Well, 4 fits in right after that.
Ngl I thought you meant the Sims 4 not Toy Story 4. Lol
Did anyone else see Boo (from Monters Inc.) in Bonnie's class?
Also at the carnival in the shooting game
@@davidpark7621 that's were I noticed her at, but thought I was seeing things cause I wasn't really looking at that part of the screen.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!
The only one I notice and they don't mention it. SMH.
Yes at the school right?
I was 10 or 11 when the first Toy Story came out. Its trippy to be watching the fourth installment with my 7 years old daughter. #Life
I think Gabby Gabby was obsessed with her voice box partly because her name literally means “talkative”
the scene where they rescue RC really is a perfect snapshot of classic Toy Story, I think.
I don't remember this scene, when was it?
@@ciaraabeyta6958 the beginning, before Bo Peep is given away
I just remembered that I came in late to the movie! I must've missed that part.

ShannonLanier UnofficiaL. What do you mean?
@@Penguinmanereikel In Toy Story 3, the first time we see Lotso, he's on a toy with wheels, being rolled into the scene. In Toy Story 4, we see Gaby Gaby for the first time in a stroller

What about Sid?
Sal Gaita Sid was just a misunderstood kid
How do you manage to keep a 50 minutes dialog with such a harmony and smoothbes between you too without even a cut, let alone an argument
It could be because they don’t depend on editing to break down movies like some of the other channels do. They have done it so often that holding a dialogue for that duration is basically second nature. When two people that share an interest converse, the talk can go on for hours XD
Best review channel ever that why
TS1
TS2&3
TS4.
To me the movie wasn’t necessary but if they were planning on making a 4th at least have it years in the future and up to where Bonnie is older and Andy has his own family and she returns the toys to his kids. That would’ve been a full circle.
I like this idea but I feel that it would've felt too similar to TS3.
I'm just imagining them in the theatre taking notes and everyone starting at them.
All I have to say is... I NEEDED MORE JESSIE
and to people who may say “well this one was about bo as the main female lead...” I say WHY NOT TWO BADASS FEMALE LEADS
Jenna Lakes PREACH!!!!
UMMMMM What about Giggles McDimples or whatever her name was??????
WE HAVE TWO, WHY NOT THREE BADASS FEMALE LEADS XD
jk Giggles was a really pointless character
If Jessie was a lead character, then there would have been 1 good lead female character.
Right!!! I missed Jessie so much on this movie!
1. Toy Story 3
2. Toy Story 2 / Toy Story 4
4. Toy Story
I never expected 4 to rival 3, which IMHO is a genuinely perfect movie, but it was about on par with 2. Shortcomings like the lack of activity for many of the original toys were made up for by the brilliant new toys (Duke and Forky stole the show) and the heartwrenching storyline.
I just LOVED that when Duke Caboom had a moment, the Canadian national anthem would start 👌🏻🇨🇦
Duck
Duke
As a Canadian, I loved that too XDDDD
Canadian prideeeeeee
Yes you Canada, Duke Caboom!
My favorite part was when they played toy story 2 music when buzz was at the carnival, Nostalgia was overwhelming
Ashton Morgan 12 I almost cried because it was so beautiful hearing it and the NOSTALGIA was awesome and I think this is the best Toy Story film :)
Ashton Morgan 12 I loved hearing the music during that part. I was internally screaming with excitement.
This movie should be called: Toys Yeeting Themselves Out the Window
Forky absolutely STOLE the show for me. He was absolutely hilarious. I loved the movie overall but man the Forky scenes are amazing

So...about the bit where the toys are always so careful around humans...did you guys forget Toy Story 1? Where they all reveal they are alive to and attack Cid? Yep. Pretty careful. Lol
DiZ Brony I mean.... it was a lot more important then than it was in toy story 4.... in my opinion at least :/
@@kyronim To that point, the humans never actually saw the toys moving about or anything in 4. In 1, the point of the scene was them revealing that they are alive to Cid specifically.
@N Mil Wow.
N Mil really hurt the franchise, thank god that Rashida Jones left though would have hurt the movie even more
I didn't get that emotional either! Everyone is talking about sobbing the whole thing. I was just like... Yeah it's sorta sad.
Tbh I liked 3 more than 4 but 4 is still a good movie

I felt that it really should have ended at three as it felt more natural but it was such an amazing movie that I’m happy it exists
Oh yeah deffo
Avery The Cuban-American toy story 2 all the way
I thought 4 was more impactful than 3 because it felt more like a funeral while 3 felt like a removal.
What about the whole lost toy/ lost boy parallel and then Bonnie's teacher being called Wendy?
Shereen Ghazi Forget about that the security that helped that girl and her teacher were the same person that means she works two jobs but with a teachers salary I would not be suprised
Surface level: Enjoyable, beautifully animated movie.
Overall: Fell below the standard of emotion and morals that Pixar has created for itself
I’ve actually watched the movie before you released your review for once 😂❤️

i watched it twice already before they released the review. once the day it came out and again last night.

Gotta disagree with you guys about the goodbyes not being all that emotional. I cried a LOT at the end. I really liked the "to infinity and beyond" moment as the camper drives away
I didn't I honestly found it a bit corny
i cried so hard
*who gets stuck with all the bad luck, no one but Donald Duck
