    In this video I will show you how to calculate punching force & cutting force of power press. Press load calculation is basic thing In press machine engineering and this is also called punching machine. Press machine and theory of machines are the method of calculate punching force. Force calculation increase die life. Tool and die cutting force can easily measured by the formula. Cutting force analysis are most important factor. Cutting force & cutting force calculation are done by industrial engineers. Punching force in sheet metal are not different. How to calculate the cutting force and sheet metal calculation are frequently ask question. Tool and die maker use this formula during tool and die maintenance.       5 ton ki press se kitni mm motai ka material asaani se kaat sakti hai, iska seedha ta'alluq tonage ke saath nahi hota. Tonage hydraulic press ki capacity ko darshata hai, jabki material motai uski kaatne ki samarata ko darshati hai. Material kaatne ka tareeqa bhi is par asar daalta hai, jaise cutting tool ka design, material ka qisam, aur kaatne ka tareeqa.
      Tonage sirf aik parameter hai, jis se aap press ki taqat aur samarata samajh sakte hain. Kaatne ke tareeqe ke liye aur factors bhi zaroori hote hain jaise material ka qisam (steel, aluminum, waghera), cutting tool ka shape, tezgi aur size, aur kaatne ka tareeqa (shearing, sawing, waghera).
      Is liye, 5 ton ki press se kitni mm motai ka material kaata ja sakta hai, ye aapke istemaal, material aur kaatne ke tareeqe pe depend karega. Behtar hoga ke aap kisi khaas kaatne ke zarooriyaat ke liye aik mahir ya manufacturer se mashwarah lein, taake aapko sahi tonage aur kaatne ke tareeqe ke baare mein maloomat mil sake.

      The same formula will be applied with a few changes. Calculate the contact area of the punch and shaft and put in the first value.

    Sir shearing strength and tensile strength same hoti hai ? Mtc reports ne to tensile strength hi diya rahta h only

      No, tensile strength and shearing strength are not the same. They represent different properties of materials.
      Tensile strength refers to the maximum stress a material can withstand before it breaks or undergoes permanent deformation when subjected to a stretching or pulling force. It measures the resistance of a material to being pulled apart.
      Shearing strength, on the other hand, represents the maximum stress a material can withstand before it fails or undergoes permanent deformation when subjected to a parallel sliding force. It measures the resistance of a material to being sheared or cut along a plane parallel to its surface.
      In summary, tensile strength relates to the resistance to pulling forces, while shearing strength relates to the resistance to sliding or cutting forces. Both properties are important in determining the mechanical behavior and structural integrity of materials.

    My question is opposite of this, How yo verify the capacity of a given machine, suppose a machine is 30 tonne, but written as 70 tonne, then how to check if the machine is 30 tonne, or 60 tonne etc
