Very well explained! First time i was confused seeing the laps of the top 5 and how early they downshift. Its a bit unreal but to be fast in this challenge its important. My lap is 1:17,015 and crazy that the best drivers reached laptimes around 1:14,9 right now 😮

Thanks for posting this! I was using a lot of your lines and braking points before I saw the video. I'm down to 1.17.5 on controller with TCS set at 3 but struggling to break my time now! It seems that you can only be fast on here by using no TCS and manipulating the gears
Or if you money shift just have the game brick the engine which would force players to restart. Shifting realistically is what usually ends up making my times so much worse than the top racers which is messed up.

I gave it a crack last night best I could manage as a casual player using a ps4 gamepad was a 1:17:636, I'll have to give it another go using your tips to try and improve :)

for Gr. 1 cars, around 800PP for Gr. 3 cars, around 730 to 750PP For Gr. 1 cars, you might need an additional horsepower restriction, as some Gr. 1 cars can have a significant power upgrade while staying around the 800PP range.
At least for the GR010, it has a lot less downforce than most of the other Gr. 1 cars. That, and recent physics update made some cars a bit more of a handful.
@@MistahMCA Also Some of the GR3s too Like The Viper Can't Corner But The New AMG can or the GTR GT500 16 Can't But the new DTM can Im not sure if this is a bug or what because people say the new physics are better
Im also on pad, 1.16.4xx. I set force feedback to 9 and 9, to really feel the car over bumps and curbs, also it helps to prevent oversteer. Best tip i can tell you is when exiting the corner, push thumb stick up and to direction of corner, when accelerating, smoothly move thumb on top while also smoothy increase power. If u are using motion for steering, than i dont know, i get used to left stick for steering. You can also hold 70% of throttle while exiting and when u are confident to make corner, increase it to 100%. Takes alot of practice, but it works for me.

For the Olympic time trial and the Toyota Cup, there's a registration process you have to fill out to be able to take part in each of those events. Once you fill each of them out, you'll be able to enter the event/championship. Those two events ask you for the information due to the prizes that they give you if you qualify for one/both of those events; Olympics being a trip to Singapore for the finals.. Tokyo for the Toyota Cup finals; both which require getting in contact with you.

They really need to add 'downshift protection system' or whatever it's called... To eliminate this stupid unrealistic engine braking abuse.
Yeah, the engine should go into limp mode for 5 seconds if you downshift it into oblivion past the redline.
I thought about this comment when I was making the Toyota Cup guide (Sprinter Trueno/Levin). It's even worse in that race. 😭
