@@sentdex that would be a really cool video to see! Have you thought about releasing the data on your website for people to use if you didn't do a video?
Ok. So I recently started watching your tutorial videos (thank you), and now I see this.. there are too few people with similar interests.. instant Subscription! Just curious, do you also work in your own car?
I do the typical stuff like brakes, rotors, oil, fluid changes...etc. I dont do engine work, other than spark plugs or something. If we're pulling the engine apart I leave it to the pros :P. How about you?
sentdex nowadays, I don’t work on my car. Other than oil change and few filter changes etc. Back when I was an aircraft mechanic (and had my tools) I used to do more. Now I’m a 3D/VFX artist who just sits behind a computer. Lol. I do like doing some karting and follow some open wheel. Would love to do a track day soon. But usually work gets in the way :(
Yeah, it was a lot of fun playing around with that turbo. My tires were needing to be replaced after this session, but I did set the best time still as that final lap :O. I only slightly beat it the next day. Probably could have done a lot better if the tires weren't dead, but what you gonna do besides blame tires? :)
I still have it. Newly rebuilt motor. I have about 5 days of tracking with the new motor, it's flawless now.....buuuuuuuuut I have fallen in love with the 911. Going to sell the S2000 probably. Or drain it and store it long term. I really don't know. I hate to sell it when I finally have it perfect, but there's no track I'd prefer to drive the s2k over the 911... so I dunno.
Wait, I didnt know you were into racing as well! I am a massive motorsports fan myself, what series do you follow? P.S. Nice driving btw. The car seems a bit understeer-y on entry but good traction out of the corners.
Finally a programmer with a life
Or... just a guy with two addictions rather than one :D
Was this programmed in Python?? Those graphics!! Tutorial please
xD I've thought about doing track data analysis in Python, but I think far too few people would be interested
@@sentdex What kinda data do you collect during the race?
hahaha

Wow the new RTX 2080ti is nice
All about that ray tracing!
lol
Snowden can throw a mean drive lol
Your content drives me crazy
I love it.
Good choice in cars mate.
Glad to see you upload something unique in this channel :)
no self-driving, no AI, no ML calculating the best path? PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH MAN. that looks really awesome tho
Oddly satisfying
you just became my hero.
So if I import racecar to my project, my app performance will increase after every lap? This library is confusing.
props for wearing a hans. get a roll cage in that ASAP.
Before you can teach the AI how to drive you must become the AI and drive XD
You are awesome
Enjoy bro.
Bro hack your car and do a series where yoy add like your own TCS or ABS powered by python or a raspberry pi
Very smooth. Your car seems to be hooked up. I'd be curious to know what suspension your running?
that track is the best. did you go in the museum? they have an awesome collection of motorcycles
I haven't gone to the museum yet. Plan to some time, but I think it would need a dedicated day.
@@sentdex yeah its 4 stories of iconic motorsports history
Have you been to COTA?
Not yet. Will for 2019 for sure. Dec or Jan is my hope. They're doing some resurfacing there over winter so right after would be cool :D
VR becomes true ! :D

You and that other 996 looked closely matched until your tyres started overheating a bit.

very cool... is this your personal race toy or did you rent at the track?
This one's mine. Dare I say it's cheaper to own than rent cars usually @ track. They can get pretty absurdly expensive to rent for track days.
I was woke when I clicked videos and saw he has an actual life and programs
Nice nice nice!
nice dude!
Am I seeing things wrong or were you not rev-matching?
Prob seeing it wrong, youd see me jerking around if I wasnt heel toeing.
What happened to your s2000?

I must confess I don't really follow the sport of racing. When it's on, I'll watch it, but I just dont have time to watch much TV.
Watching it from my phone. Not sure whether it is an AI tutorial or vlog.
Imagine sentdex vlogs lol.
Rapid obtenebration!
is this in simulation???
That's a very...very... deep question ;). I believe it's real, but what do I know?
Did u use 4loops here?
Cooooool!! :D
Did you train your brain model to remember your lines?
What car is this?
It's a Porsche 911 Carrera s. You can see it on instagram.com/sentdex
Scary as F*** 😟
Fun as F***, you mean :D
Do a series on deepminds TRFL 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Make an actual self driving car in python and test it here
Checkout Roborace.
Dont tell me you bought this car with programming jobs? xd
Add a camera to show your feet
I wouldnt mind watching that, never actually seen video of my own feet, could be interesting to watch.
@@sentdex Just to show what you do when changing gears
Roll cage 😨
Roll cage is a bit unnecessary for what I'm doing here. Have a roll bar and harnesses.
Hey harrison do you think you could check your email. I think i might have gone to spam.
I get too many emails a day to read them all. Probably not spam, just...lost in the mix.
sentdex thanks so much! It should be under Tristan Shah
Everyone mentions python.. bla bla bla... And no one mentions the driving.. So, nice driving man!
Thx!
