@mistressmozart Well, if you have heard Jaroussky then your claim about Orliński is no longer valid. Nobody beats Jaroussky for sheer beauty, clarity and purity of voice.
@@Eudaimonia88 i disagree and of course these things are subjective. Just because i have a different opinion than you doesn't mean it's 'invalid'. Yes, Jaroussky is superb but I prefer Orlinski now
@@reflect1504 Jaroussky's voice is not interesting at all (to me)... feminine, thin, weak... Yes, he has great technical skills and imagination. Orlinski's voice is crystal pure, round, well aimed and he did not sacrifice his masculinity. We need to add that Jakub Orlinski is still very young and innovative, likes experimenting. All in all, a fantastic, charismatic young artist that draws the audience straight into his music. I also like Andreas Scholl and Tim Mead (especially in English Baroque music).

Amazing performance by these young talented singers,the divine gift of creating these angelic tunes is yet a sign that the human voice was ,is and will always be the greatest instrument ever created.
Purcell's early death was such an unbelievable loss
His epitaph reads: "Here lyes Henry Purcell Esq., who left this life and is gone to that Blessed Place where only His harmony can be exceeded."

I'm so happy for Jakub; he wanted to badly to join the King Singers and here he is performing beautifully alongside of them.
Jakub is magnificent and truly unique. His voice, his vibrant youth and the enthusiasm he puts in his performances make him so. I had the chance to listen to him live in Milan and I cried. He is a a true gift to mankind, capable of making ancient and baroque music contemporary again. I must admit that ancient and baroque are my favorite but he makes them come to life as nobody else. And this a capella accompaniment adds an undescribable outwordly touch ❤ Thank you Jakub and thanks King's College Choir Singers!!!!

How utterly sublime
I have listened to this several times now. I isolated and listened to every single voice, at the same time, listening to the whole. I love that rich bass! I love all their voices, perfect harmonies. As for Jakub - words fail me how beautiful his voice is. Thank you guys - a slice of Heaven.

The ease with which Mr. Howard drops to a low B multiple times is the most impressive part of this recording. I, just as most basses, can attest to the difficulty of projecting a low B enough to still be heard in a group.
