      About the first point - structure before function. What methods should be used to correct structure? In my case, that would be flattened lumbar lordosis, flattened thoracic kyphosis, and mild levoscoliosis.

      V.S, hi. I talk about this in my other videos. What you describe is a complex spinal situation. Look up on my channel videos on straightening lumbar spine. I show show structural corrective care techniques.

My pain isn’t that much but that weird sensations make me tired and weak sir what is that? And how long it will take to heal? And how i will know when it starts to heal?

    Hi Dr. Walter, I've listened to the full video about the 5 ways to a speedy recovery of L4-L5... I have consulted 5 osteo physicians, and I haven't heard this kind of advice. They just prescribed pain relievers, then the heaviness in the lumbar area will go, but the pain is still there. Currently, I had my MRI and the impression was degenerative disc bulge L4-L5 with severe narrowing. Imagine, I have had this problem for more than a year... and until now... the issue on my lumbar spine is still there... due to incompetent treatment. Now, I rely more on YT videos from reliable doctors, and you are one of them. I hope the exercises that you illustrated in your other videos will work for me.

    Excellent advice. I've had disc bulge & sciatica recently and was given exercises by my physio which I largely couldn't do as it was too painful. I'm now being treated by a osteopath who's advice has been very similar to what has been given in this video. Treatment ongoing but I think I'm on right path. I would definitely seek advice from osteopath or chiropractor before a physio.🤞

    I have been dealing with l5 s1 for 1.5 years, which led to severe sciatica, I had surgery 12 weeks ago and now am experiencing sciatica in the opposite leg when I drive.
    After hearing MULTIPLE professionals telling me to stretch, bridge ect.
    Not one professional told me about structure before function...
    I don't get why I hear different things from different professionals....
    After hearing this I feel like I just wasted my time all this time....
    I have been listening to this channel for a bit now and it makes sense. I'm not a chiropractor by any means, however after listening to many videos in the past and especially this one, I feel like i have wasted precious recovering time...
    I don't live that far from your office however I feel like it would help me dearly to have an appointment with you.
    Great work, great videos, very informative.
    Thanks for your hard work Dr Walter on educating everyone.

    Hi Doctor, thank you for the helpful videos. Watching them has made me a bit concerned about my current doctor's approach. He prescribed painkillers and advised me to swim, walk, and stretch.
    I have two MRI results and would appreciate your advice:
    C4-C5, C5-C6, and C6-C7 mildly bulged discs.T11-T12 posterior right paracentral focal disc bulging, and L4-L5 mildly bulged disc.

    I felt sad at the start of the vid. When you said it's not my fault, I felt relieved. Now I could feel anger, a lot. So I guess I'm sad again.
    A year ago I ended up in emerge from herniated discs. (L2-3, L4-5 c lrg post lat herniation projecting to the L, L5-S1, & L5 nerve root irritation the list goes on). One doc stated when I have this hyperintensity I'm to just Push Through the Pain.
    After the MRI the head doc stated, "You know you have degenerative spine disorder," & walked away. Subscribed a nerve blocker and sent me off in socks & a blanket.
    My doc, sent me to pain clinic which was no help. Went to T.O Rehab Institute and left with nothing.
    All I need is someone to tell me what I can & shouldn't do. As a Nurse, Yoga & Ballet Instructor you'd think it would be easy. But I feel left to just live in pain till death.
    But your vid gave me hope. I'm not so much a uTooB self diagnose person but you have verified credentials. The thought that there are people out there like you has given me more courage to encourage my healthcare team to work much harder to get me the help I need.
    Thank you. For the word "Recovery."🙏🏼

    My doctor never told me about doing exercises or my structure all he he said is that I have to walk every-day and ofc take my medicines and its been 6 months I didn't recover yet not mentioning that I'm suffering from herniated disc for like a year and half now

  • @AdrianeCarrasco
    @AdrianeCarrasco 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I’m in south Florida and have been to several chiropractors that are not interested in helping me recover. They give you no exercises to help with structural issues, no treatment plan, all they want is your money, to come for the adjustment visits and that’s it. What should I be looking for in a doctor that I’m not finding? I’m suffering for 4 years now and it’s getting worse because I can’t afford the copay anymore

    • @DrWalterSalubro
      @DrWalterSalubro  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @AdrianeCarrasco, I am sorry to hear this. I would be frustrated as well. Look for a corrective chiropractor, one that is trained and certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics. There should be some in the S. Florida area. This is what you want to look for: 1) they take xrays, 2) they analyze your posture, 3). the review your clinical history and any medical / imaging reports, 3) they devise an individualize corrective care plan that include spinal adjustments, postural corrective adustments, postural corrective exercises, home traction instruction, and in office traction work, 4) they do regular follow up progress exams to measure your treatment outcomes. Check out this directory of corrective care Chiropractic BioPhysics docs at www.idealspine.com/directory.

    I was told I have a l4 l5 s1 bulge however I only get sciatica pain everyone now and then I fell on my back literally before I was in a coma and when I woke up my feet felt asleep after several days it was just the right foot and had foot drop this was about 11 months ago in between that time I broke my ankle but I can walk pretty good and almost run but I feel as if my big toe got better but my little toes haven’t yet also use to have severe nerve pain I the lower leg ankle and foot area I still have lack of feeling to hot and cold water in this foot and my muscles haven’t got very strong I can’t get on my tip does on my right foot unless I have my other leg to help it would it be a good idea to work out like crazy ? Or is there a surgery I also do my own tens unit at home and I work on my feet 12 hour days ! Also my ankle never healed in a cast so now wear a brace but it doesn’t bother me much it broke off at the medial malleolus 7 months after the injury to my nerve ! I’m young and want to be active like I use to any advice I take vitamins and alpha lipoic acid don’t drink or smoke thanks !

    I went to a chiropractor years ago and do not respond to adjustments cause I freeze up. I would like to see a chiropractor so are there other things that can do? I have disc buldges and no pain down leg now but after standing still for 15 min or walking for 10 min, that one leg gets so tight (calf muscles) and I cannot bend my knee to lift the leg. After I rest, then I am ok for awhile. Have been told no stenosis and other dr said mild stenosis. my feet and ankles also are very tight 24/7 and feel less sensation. the fascia is very tight. i do not know what to do anymore. tried steroid epidurals and accupuncture so far . Not much pain in lumbar. It is my left leg that seems heavy and prohibits the walking/standing. What can a chiropractor (w/o adjustment) so for me?
