Dude this just happened to mine, I loved it and 2 weeks in this issue started. I contacted customer support and they were so disappointing in accommodating. I’m returning mine and looking for an alternative. I really enjoyed it while it lasted. I was truly rooting for this product to succeed. Hopefully they get it fixed, the fact that they didn’t recall it after this many accounts is throwing me off a bit
The issue with mine also had overlapping displays, if I went back to main menu all of my notes overlapped the main menu ui. I’m not sure if this is also happening to many.
Just "group sharing" - I have no dead pixels, and no buzzing that I can hear. Bought mine early, didn't get it till late September (as far as manufacturing date).
I kid you not. I have ordered 10 different reMarkable Paper Pros (via 3rd party retailer) and each one had dead pixels. In the end I gave up but I really liked the rMPP. Just going to stick it out with my rM2 for now.
I also have a dead pixel on my RM Pro. I contacted customer service and they also offered a replacement however the person I chatted with did say that this issue is a manufacturing problem they are trying to address and that they can’t guarantee the replacement device will be better! So probably best to wait a few months until they sort this out.
I am actually considering the same as many people I have spoken to had issues with the replacement. Not long until the 100 day return window expires though unless they are able to accept this under the 1 year warranty?

@@CrueLoaf Trusty old rM2! I wasn’t an early adopter of the rM2 but I wonder if it has as many issues early days.

@ if you have a Connect membership you get 3 year defect replacements on any new device. So you should be safe!

Thanks for this. Thankfully mine doesn't have either issue of dead pixels or noise. Hopefully that will continue 🤞
