      As per my knowledge, you can unless money spent is less than 250000 USD in a FY. This is as per LRS scheme.

      @@finvestomate thanks you sir, but I have taken loan from HDFC credila and they'll be giving me their forex card!
      And after watching your full videos on the comparison between niyo and BFM I see that BMF had less things to worry compared to Niyo
      Because BMF also provides sim and Forex Rates are locked and the exchange Rates they provide is better than Niyo and also their service (this was the info as per my research and info that I have after watching your informative video 🙏)
      So I was planning to buy a BMF since Niyo was once banned by RBI etc...
      So considering all the above and my future please assist me 🙏

      BMF is free, with good exchange rates. If your need is to make online payments while you are travelling, then it is good card. Please note that to load any currency in BMF card, you need to have valid air tickets and visa docs (if applicable)

    Bmf card has markup of 3.5% on every swipe?

    • @finvestomate
      @finvestomate  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Markup fee of 3.5% + 18% GST on markup fee is applicable if you use your forex card for making transactions with a currency which is not loaded on your forex card.
      For example, I made a purchase of 6.90 EUR at Istanbul airport. However, transaction of 7.18 EUR happened on the card.
      The mistake I did is I selected TRY currency on POS machine instead of EUR currency.
      Hence, they debited in TRY. Now for TRY 189.75 Debited (Istanbul currency), EUR 7.18 (6.9 + 3.5% of 6.9 + 18% of 3.5% of 6.9) got debited from BMF card.
