If you’re sick of hearing us harp on about Squid Game, we’ve got some sour news for you, jack. Now, we haven’t covered Squid Game on this channel before, but with the prospect of putting other characters in a hypothetical Squid Game, we decided to try one for ourselves. Yeah, plus squid game, is all about being balanced, you just got to be decent at everything, and that's where Mario stands. Of course being highly skilled, everything would be nice, but we all know that there isn't anybody who's like that Even in this type of case so I just feel like mario would win

To be fair, even if kirby is unable to really do anything in the midnight brawl, he'd be more than capable of being durable enough to survive (and at the same time, his inhale is still a valid alternative to copy abilities.)
@CreepCalamity oh yeah….. that’s an odd detail they left out. And also he can call a litteral star from space that destroy everything in its path… and also he can just… eat bullets? I mean we know from the same “punching the world to destroy it” game that he’s got amazing reaction time, so I don’t think Kirby winning would be that crazy of an idea. And also he can spit things out after eating them, so he wouldn’t even have to kill anybody.

I feel like Sonic could have survived honeycomb because while he’s impatient, he might have been able to wear down the dalgona candy really fast, but precise enough to not break it. He immediately dies in tug-of-war, though. He’s not known for his strength.
UM-He Can Convert His Insane Speed to Pull-Force, I Doubt Tug-Of-War is a REAL Issue while yes he Doesn't have the-WAIT-WHAT THE ACTUAL Shit is this None-Sense? Sonic Strength is Listed as "UNBEATABLE" in the japanese Manuals-WHAT?!

@@geomania8533 if you are talking about Marbles then Sonic can just Open the Bag of someone Marbles and Steal ALL Of it without Actively trying to be hostile or Even giving his Opponents Much time to React to his Action Considering HOW Fast he is.
If Smash Bros had their version of Squid Game, it would have to be really more advanced. Far too many characters are faster than bullets to the point where a camera probably can't even see them move thus no detect them. They'd also dodge the bullet even if caught or cross the finish line before the 1st red light. A lot of characters are also basically bullet proof; so might need to replace bullets with some kind of FTL super lasers. Or better yet, make the E.M.M.I. the security guards.
Also, I call BS that Kirby and Ness get killed to early during the brawl fight; especially Kirby. If Kirby can tank galaxy hits from casual Cosmic destroyers with no notable injuries, he can tank hits from most other Smash players. He doesn't even need his section or copy ability, his pure physical might and speed get him far. Also, this might just be Ness' avatar rather than the real ness who transcends all time and space. But even as a kid, he tanks nuclear explosions to his face all the time and lives to tell about it.
As for Tug of War, Mario going is also iffy. He's not a great team player, but his still tags with Luigi. And he can also lift entire castles with ease, which means he singlehandedly could pull entire teams. Though subpar with Wario or Kirby, but he's still strong. Samus can also carry 960x her weight with ease due to being native to Zebes canon gravity. Don't quote me just to bring up that infamous "Actually this guy on Twitter found another source that contradicts it". The only other source turned out to be 100% fabricated made by some guy who actually didn't even know Japanese and only made because of how some Battle Boarding threads turned out against his favor. But she has a far better chance at winning than Snake or Fox McCloud just from sheer strength alone. Tactics doesn't really work against someone strong enough to lift 10x your body weight let alone hundreds. With some even being able to lift billions or trillions of tons.

Ok I really disagree with that final round of snake losing. They're both fighters and yes snakes a stealth warrior, however since neither has a weapon, I believe snake would have the advantage considering he fights much more with his hands and would likely suffocate marth

I feel like Pac-Man should be able to survive the midnight brawl due to one reason: the Pac-Man world series. He has moves such as the Rev Roll and Butt Bounce, and I think they would fit into the category of moves he can use, due to the fact that these aren't unlocked, but rather given to him directly at the start. These could be used for evasion, speeding around and getting to high places, plus he is shown to be a competent fighter in Pac Man World 3, being able to take on hordes of enemies and having some acrobatic skill. He would pretty much be killed in the tug of war, but I feel he would be able to make it to that at the very least.

Yeah no snake isn't just an assassin, have you forgotten he was in the military and know CQC and CQB. Basically he know a collection of various fighting styles and could use that to fight Marth. Sure you can say that Marth has some combat training, but he know more sword combat than hand to hand hence why Snake would beat Marth in the end
Marth took down grown up armored knights at age 14 with no gear and a sword. With his gifted skills he can take snake down. Marth is insanely fast in his games, and has survived powerful blows from dragons
Snake has took on metal gears time and time again, basically mech suits/robots. He has went into, what basically a microwave. He was being heated inside and out which is worse than a Dragon. Not gonna down play it, dragons are hard to beat, but would you rather be burned externally or be burned internally and externally. Even then Snake was literally made to be a perfect soldier, being a clone of the Big Boss and was supposed to surpass him. Snake has fought with experienced military personnel in hand to hand combat multiple times even fought liquid snake who is basically supposed to be Solid snake.
That and it isn't a fight to the death like they say, the fight at the end of the show was due to rising tensions that made them stop playing the game properly and turn it into a outright brawl
Assuming Marth/Snake actually play the game properly (aka one running around the squid and the other trying to push the attacker out of the ring) it would be more about speed and possibly wrestling/pushing skills. Which gives snake a bigger chance

I just can't accept snake losing tk Marth, I played both games and know that Marth is a skilled warrior but a skilled Warrior of the sword. Where snake is legit military trained in close quarter combat and know how to use a variety of weapons. So how does that make sense that Marth wins, it's rigged

People fail to realize Marth is fast enough to dodge real lightning on a regular basis, overpowered dragons without his Holy Blood Weapons, and tanked meteors that exceed 15 kilotons of tnt equivalent. Yes, Snakes has his share of superhuman feats, but Marth has a lot more.

@@helpstapde6611 That is game mechanics. Also, you get knives for the final squid game round. Also, historically, all swordsmen are skilled at fighting with staves and bare hands before learning swordsman ship. The strength and speed gap are still far too great in Marth's favor.
I think with Ness' size he'd make it past the brawl being able to hide and he does fight 1v1 early early in EB in a wave of police officers, he works well on a team so I think he'd be fine in tug of war too. Could also see him move on past marbles while not a manipulator, he isn't known to be manipulated easily. He doesn't seem to have an ego so he could make it past glass stepping stones.
Y'all had Bobby Hill win against Boomhouer who is a Texas Ranger and likely has some basic combat training for his job while Bobby fighting is a kick to the nuts.
I also think that kirby does have a shot in the midnight brawl, mainly because they can swallow another person and use their powers and if all else fails, just float to the top of the room and wait for things to die down

Sonic in Squid Game is just so unfair for the other characters around him.

I feel it’s kind of unfair to completely strip the strongest characters of their powers - such as kirby, bayonetta and shulk - because at their strongest, their powers do not come from weapons. They come from inherent abilities, such as kirby and shulk basically becoming gods at times, when some characters such as sonic still get to keep their powers. Also there was a heavy bias towards marth the entire video, because snake could easily beat him in every scenario.
I don't know about easy beat Marth. Marth has survived two continental spanning wars with magic and dragons on the field. In fact he's incredibly broken in both games. Not to mention in most cases outside of the final squid game they likely wouldn't be facing off against each other. I'd really only argue for Snake's CQC giving him and advantage against Marth in that scenario but otherwise they are definitely the most evenly matched.
Marth is fast enough to dodge lightning and tough enough to tank 15 kiloton meteors without his Falchion, which beats every physical melee feat Snake has.
Though, I agree on the rest, in fact almost no one would be killed by Squid Game guards considering how fast and tough Nintendo characters are. Unless Giygas or someone is hosting the games and Chozo statues and EMMI are the guards, it is too easy for most of these Superhuman characters.
Most of Marths training would be with a sword, while most of Snakes would be with guns and barehanded, and since this is with only a small knife for a weapon, Snake would beat Marth training-wise.
@@kinger8471 Agreed, but then there's things like Marth being able to dodge lightning spells, fight off whole army's by himself and tank hits from dragons. Does Snakes training make up for the difference in feats. Also most swordsman are also trained in side arms like a knife too so I'd actually give the advantage to Marth in terms of being a more experienced dualist.
@@kinger8471 historically, all knights trained with quarter staves before they trained with swords or lances. And samurai trained with bo staves before they did katanas or naginatas. And swinging melee weapons aren't too much different than punches. Also, superhuman strength and speed gaps often make skill difference not so relevant.

Kirby could straight up Dominate, and even take down the Squid Games. He is somewhat intelligent and level-headed, so he could survive Red Light Green Light. He also has enough strength to hit through planets, he has the ability to puff him self up to (kinda) float and fly around to help with the glass stepping stones, he could EASILY survive the Midnight Brawl due to his already aforementioned strength, and said strength would help him get through Tug Of War. Some may say he can’t beat Marbles, but all he would have to do is eat his opponents Marbles to Win. And If you think Kirby can’t win the Squid Game, you must not have listened to this comment. (Have you seen the Dudes Up Throw? He would TOTALLY dominate in either position.) And once the games are over, he would easily take down Squid Game due to the rules likely no longer applying after he wins, and Kirby with Copy Abilities is a force to be reckoned with. So overall, with Kirby in the Mix, Squid Game is as good as Gone.

9:15 I understand what your getting at, but in the manga (which is confirmed to be canon), samus is given chozo DNA which amplifies her strength significantly. Thats why she can jump so high in her games and lug around that heavy suit.
I have some real problems with how some of these characters are dyeing it really seems like it's been made to favour set characters over actually considering the chances they could win each event. Additionally some of the info is a little wrong banjo is lazy not a coward this means he is more likely to find a cheap way to do things sure it could get him out in the second round but he should survive the first round as he is not a coward. He would likely hide behind a person to cross. With that being said I do feel like tactics weren't considered here and it focused fully on personality.

Mario should’ve survived tug of war because in the first Mario Party, one of the mini games was Tug of war. Not only is that a sign of strength and teamwork, it also proves that Mario doesn’t get blisters from spinning of joystick. Lol

snake would proooobably beat marth in a fight. marth has never really been shown to be proficient in hand to hand combat. which snake absolutely is. and marth definitely is more compassionate and has less of a drive to survive than snake. and this is coming from someone who loves FE and knows almost nothing about metal gear

Actually, you realistically need to be a strong puncher to be a strong swordsman. Marth also has better speed and durability feats than Snake via Bolting and Meteors.
Marth can tank through lightning, and is one of the fastest characters in his game since he is a lord. He is very experienced in swords. He definitely has a need to survive to save himself, in his games he is very determined to win and against all odds he is triumphant in his games.
Yeah, Fire Emblem is a Verse where even average foot soldiers are fast enough to dodge lightning and tough to tank meteors with impacts similar to the Little Boy Nuke dropped on Hiroshima. And Marth is outrageously strong even said verse without his Legendary Falchion. He's stronger than Ymir who is strong enough to fend off entire armies of soldiers in the like.
Not to mention, as of Genealogy of the Holy War, some characters have things called Holy Bloods; which makes some characters outrageously strong than all their peers and enables them to carry holy weapons that most other characters cannot draw from scabbards or lift if unsheathed. I feel like they were a bit unfair to Ness. Even without his PSI powers, Ness still literally absorbed the power of the entire Earth and gained enough physical strength where him punching a regular human without weapons would still one shot them. Ness also gains incredible health. Ness has the health of 10 to 15 fully grown adults after absorbing the power of the planet.

Even then, Kirby probably wouldn't actually die in the cutting game, as he'd probably just eat the guns as well. The folks would either have to kindly ask him to leave, or face Kirby as he takes down the Squid Game and frees everyone.

PROBLEMS:
1. I feel like Mario should have gone further. Not only is he extremely strong (Ex. lifting Bowser, lifting castles) , but he also works very well in a team. Not only with people with he's known for a long time (Luigi and Peach) , but also with people like Geno and Mallow. People who he has never worked with before.
2. How in the bloody hell does Marth beat Snake? Maybe i'm missing something because i've never played FE, but Snake has hand to hand combat experience whilst Marth is only good with a sword.
You’re a hundred percent right in both cases. It doesn’t make sense how Mario loses the tug of war challenge. In fact, he’s the last character I would imagine losing the tug of war challenge due to the fact he already has a game where one of the most infamous mini games is an actual tug of war, which he is more than likely to win. Second off his canonical feats are way too strong to even say no. Guy punches bricks with his fist for a living. What, are you gonna say that kind of guy isn’t strong?
3. I understand Fox is used to manipulation, thanks to that son of a pig that is Pigma, but the red fox got manipulated by the pig several times. To be more precise, he and his team received a destress signal from someone… only to later find out it was Pigma who pretended to be in danger to lure Fox, Peppy, Slippy and Falco in a trap.

I'm a tiny bit iffy on Joker losing on Tug of War. If we are talking just Ren, he would still have a good chance. He works out doing pull-ups in the real world and he has great teamwork with the other phantom thieves (even if it's just their real-life selves). He would also be intelligent to know a strategy to win.

I would have to disagree with Kirby and Ness. Even if Ness may have died in the midnight brawl, they gave glass bottles to the players for the actual purpose of weapons. I have no doubt they’d do the same here. Kirby is pretty much impossible to disarm as well, seeing that he had a whole pocket dimension inside his belly.
I think that Kirby might have a small chance in the Midnight Brawl, as he can fly to safety.

A few things
To make things even worse for Olimar in the Midnight Brawl, he usually doesn't fight on his own, usually needing to rely on Pikmin to take down enemies in his series, sure, he can punch, but it never really does that much damage, even against simple eggs, and again, sure, he would be stronger if scaled up, but he would probably not be much stronger than a normal man, and it doesn't help his case that he doesn't have much combat experience without Pikmin especially outside of PNF-404.
So, yeah, Olimar is out of luck in the Midnight Brawl, but hey, he would probably do very well in the two actual games before hand
I feel like Wario could get out earlier to be honest, I could easily see him screwing up and getting shot in Red Light Green Light, or even panicking slightly once someone else does, and even if he did get past there, he has big strong hands, making things harder for him when it comes to cutting the cookie, and again, I could easily see him eating the cookie before the challenge is actually announced. Sure, you could say he would try to stay focused since he's aware of the prize, but it would also make sense for him to be too blinded by the prize to really pay attention, possibly leading to his down fall.
And lastly, I was kind of expecting Snake to win the Squid Game against Marth, because I think he has better hand ti hand combat experience than Marth does, and he is far more stealthy, both of which would help tremendously.
wario is too heavy for the glass to hold him. even the correct pane.
I think marth should still win, he has been able to tank through dragons and lightning. And is one of the fastest units in fire emblem because he is classed as a lord. He is also very strong and skilled with a sword. Also I don’t think stealth would really help if it’s just the two of them
@@-Puppet- Well, I don't think actual character stats are bring factored into the video that much, I mean I'm pretty sure 2 thirds of this cast would survive gunshots with no real issue, though the speed thing is fair, definitely would give Marth an edge in that department. However, the sword thing doesn't really matter here since he wouldn't be able to use it here or in any of the other challenges, just a hand to hand.combat experience, and being Stealthy, from my understanding, is a good strategy to try and win the final challenge, as you will be able to approach the target with ease and sneak away unscathed and all that.

Proof that Mario can survive Tug of War:
Wario survived due to being a good team player and having the strength as well. Mario is a good team player but according to this video he doesn’t have the strength needed to win. However, in Mario Party there are tug of war minigames where it is shown that all of the characters have the same rope pulling strength (unless they are in the Bowser suit). Therefore, when it comes to tug of war, Mario and Wario have the same amount of strength, so therefore Mario would also survive the round. I’m not sure how much farther he would make it after that though

Technically, Kirby has survived being slashed with swords, squashed by millions of tons of weight. He could totally survive the brawl.
I was gonna get super pissed that Kirby didn't survive the midnight brawl, but then someone pointed out he'd have absolutely no chance at honeycombs (I don't know how you or I missed that) so I'll let it slide _just this once._ What I WON'T let slide is saying Marth would beat Snake in the squid game. Snake is not just an assassin, he a master of hand-to-hand combat, and probably overall stronger than Marth. Marth himself is a swordsman and not used to fighting without a weapon, he would totally lose this duel.

Something you forgot to include in the red light green light analysis was that you could sabotage others. Same with a lot of other games. For example, wario would probably kill off 1 or 2 unintelligent characters at the beginning. It would have to be based on characters paranoid or smart enough to stay away from others because of how aware they are of the danger. For example, this kills luigi off at the beginning due to him not being the best thinker. Sure, he made it through a few haunted houses. He wins by doing nothing. BUT, as long as he stays near others, he is really likely to be eliminated.
