You do remember that the "Shrek" cat's name is "Puss in Boots" right? They used the Zorro moniker/atyre and mannerisms for the character as a throwback easter egg to "The Mask of Zorro" that was released before "Shrek 2"; plus the fact that both characters were played/voiced by Antonio Banderas.

But I think the main difference is that Peabody always keeps a cool head no matter the situation, Megamind is more likely to let his emotions get the better of him, which makes it very likely to screw up fatally at some point. And even if he didn't, he's not physically skilled enough to match any of the other finalists.

So the penguin gets eliminated because flippers are impractical for holding a rope but the chicken with her equaly impractical wings doesn't? That seems weird, plus it's also worth noting that we can see in the Penguins movie that Skipper was able to hold on to and pull ropes just fine even as a kid, plus he and his men managed to use a canoe on land which they would have needed some pretty strong feet with tight grip on said canoe to pull off. I honestly think Skipper could have easilly swept this whole thing when looking at how strong and skilled he is overall.
In this scenario Skipper directly goes up against opponents that outweight him about 10 to 1. And aside those joke scenes you mentioned, we have seen that the penguins don't posses any extraordinary level of brawn. Against bigger creatures they always rely on speed and technique, which doesn't help here. I think Ginger hangs in there because (for some reason) she basically has fingers, and has a long history of holding up a team for survival.
@@rase5994 It really doesn't matter if Skipper's dexterity is meant to be played for laughs or not, if we can ignore the lack of hands for characters in honeycomb because some characters would pass due to abusing cartoon logic then i don't see why we couldn't do the same for tug of war. And while it may be true that he doesn't have extraordinary levels of strenght (still more then most of the human characters here tho, he'd overpower the Eldorado guys pretty easilly for example) he's still fairly strong in his own right and has consistently proven to be a great leader and teamplayer, which is very important for tug of war.
@@robmacher3253 Honeycomb challenge required one to be clever and deft, which is something a smaller character can easily work around with; you could imagine Skipper licking the honeycomb, using his beak or claws. But in a game that relies so heavily on direct strength, even the greatest strategy can only take you so far (as we saw in the show). "Strong in his *own* right" won't be enough, so no Skipper could never overpower Miguel or Tulio in tug of war. No matter what tricks he pulls, the fact that he weighs only few dozens pounds means that even an average human could outdo him with one hand. And before you point to the fact that there were other small-sized characters who made it trough, I'll counter your argument about being "a great leader and teamplayer": those skills help only if you manage to land into a decent team. But Skipper is actually proven to be quite irrational with his actions (examples given when asked) and not comfortable being in a team where he doesn't get to be in charge, as we saw in their spin-off film. All that added his small stature and lack of hands, he's not very convincing for players that aren't his usual group. Granted, Ginger surviving is also a long shot. But she's more of an actual team player; more willing to put faith in others, rise up some realistic fighting spirit and she has fingers. She has a bit better chances to land in a strong team.
@@rase5994 Size doesn't always tell you everything about brute strenght, we see this plenty of times throughout Dreamworks' lineup of movies including the Madagaskar films. Remember how the old lady Nana was able to fight on par with and even overpower Alex (who himself is strong enough to lift Marty, Melman and Gloria at the same time and destroyed a telephone booth by tearing it off the pole that held it) throughout the first two movies? The penguins could overpower her and toss her away like it was nothing, Skipper is shown to be able to knock humans and bigger animals (such as the foosa) out with single hits and he's stated in the show to be able to wrestle gorillas and floor an elephant. While it is true that agillity does play a big part in his fighting style, said fighting style would be useless if he didn't have the raw strenght to harm these bigger opponents in the first place.
I had hoped that Hiccup would be a finalist in this scenario, but the reason for his elimination makes sense. I gotta say too, regardless of the accuracy on whether Peabody would actually win, I'm sure that Puss would still put up a really good fight.
yea, spirit dont have a chance in the honnycomb challenge, i love horses but he dont stand a chance. any games that involves fighting he could easly get past but something like the honnycomb? not a chance. I somehow knew that Hiccup would fail at marbles T^T but I really wanted to see him get through, but your right, though he has strategy, I doubt that if someone were to manipulate him that he would be able to figure it out quick enough… so he’d have to rely on trying to convince them not to fight back and even then I doubt he would choose to kill someone else to save his own life, 😢 RIP Hiccup and all others who fell, and congrats to Mr. Peabody for the victory

I feel like mr. Wolf and hiccup would do really good in tug-of-war, even though they’re not necessarily the strongest characters in dreamworks, they do know how to plan strategies to win and they seem to be really good team players

Normally I tend to agree with most of the decisions in these but there is no way I could see Peabody beating Puss in a fight to the death. Don't forget that Puss is the BEST assassin in Far Far Away, sure he may not have his signature weapon with him but both combatants in the show snuck steak knives in with them and such a shrewd and cunning fighter like Puss likely would have improvised a weapon even sooner. But regardless of weapons Puss is a paid assassin and while Peabody might have an impressive bite and a greater intellect he is nowhere near on the same level of combat experience as Puss, not only would he beat Peabody but it wouldn't even be close.
I gotta agree with ya Puss would have the higher chance of winning but they did say that Peabody is smarter than Puss which is true but Puss uses his swords more than his claws and we don’t see Puss use his claws that much and due to the fact Puss already won a squid game that can be a reason for Peabody to win.

Being incredibly smart allows you to use your surroundings, in a long term fight you can always plan ahead and set up traps, you can build valuable tools and trick your opponents, however in a single one vs one short quick battle in a flat landscape, strength is just a little stronger.

Yay, after doing the Animated Movie Companies, Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar, and Sony Animation Villain Squid Games, They finally did a Hero Squid game for one of them, this one being Dreamworks. Since the Squid game Animated Movie Companies are still at a score of 4 Villain squid games vs 1 Hero squid game, they should make more Hero Squid Games, like maybe Disney, Pixar and Sony Animation Hero Squid Games, seperately of course. I've been trying to figure out which family guy character would win squid game. So far, my best guess is Lois, if she can keep her ego in check. Tempted to say Meg dies in red light green light, but I can see her making it up to marbles, glass bridge if there's an odd amount of people left from tug of war
Maybe The Last Wish is skewing my perception a bit (unfortunate that this video was released before that movie came out), but I definitely have to give the edge to Puss in that final duel. Not to discredit Peabody in the slightest, but Puss's athleticism and combat prowess are just too much. It doesn't matter how smart you are when your throat is being torn open. Peabody doesn't have the means to invent a solution to this problem, nor does he have the time to do it even if he does have the tools. Puss is much better at unarmed combat and improvisation, which are the key advantages needed for this scenario.

I was going to say I disagree with Peabody being that cutthroat, but then this is a Dreamworks Heroes challenge, and Dreamworks has the odd additional thing that’s not official but is a recurring theme: What they’re fighting for. Many times, they’ll give up but come through because of their beliefs or for a loved one. Puss would be fighting for the glory and money, but Peabody’s main goal would probably be to get home to see Sherman again. While this isn’t an official “skill” that would typically be considered, I think it’s fair to assume that in more opposing duels, that they may have talked about what they would leave the games to go home to, leading to some sacrificing themselves not just because they don’t want to take another’s life, but also because they would want to give someone the chance to go back to their family and loved ones, such as Puss allowing Peabody to win so he can return to Sherman.
I was a bit saddened that Miguel and Moses (two of my favourite DreamWorks heroes) are eliminated in the Marbles game, but oh well, at least they made it this far.

The ant should have made it through to marbles at least! Even if he wasn't strong in comparison to other ants, ants are still insanely strong for their size! So if you scaled up his size he would have been incredibly strong! And with an exo skeleton he probably wouldn't have taken much damage in the brawl.
TBF if you scaled up an ant they would die due to their body not being able to absorb enough oxygen to sustain the relatively massive size. That's why there used to be massive insects and inveraberates during the Carboniferous period such as the Meganeura and Odonatoptera that no longer exist.

Tug of War: With the ants size, he wouldn’t be able to touch or reach the rope…he can jump but it would probably not be enough. The brawl challenge: Again with his size, someone could easily squish him either intentionally or unknowingly….it depends if the ant is attempting to fight someone or someone is fighting someone else and they are moving at a fast pace.

True. But I think the main difference is that Peabody always keeps a cool head no matter the situation, Megamind is more likely to let his emotions get the better of him, which makes it very likely to screw up fatally at some point.

So the penguin gets eliminated because flippers are impractical for holding a rope but the chicken with her equaly impractical wings doesn't? That seems weird, plus it's also worth noting that we can see in the Penguins movie that Skipper was able to hold on to and pull ropes just fine even as a kid, plus he and his men managed to use a canoe on land which they would have needed some pretty strong feet with tight grip on said canoe to pull off. I honestly think Skipper could have easilly swept this whole thing when looking at how strong and skilled he is overall.

In this scenario Skipper directly goes up against opponents that outweight him about 10 to 1. And aside those joke scenes you mentioned, we have seen that the penguins don't posses any extraordinary level of brawn. Against bigger creatures they always rely on speed and technique, which doesn't help here.
I think Ginger hangs in there because (for some reason) she basically has fingers, and has a long history of holding up a team for survival.
@@rase5994 It really doesn't matter if Skipper's dexterity is meant to be played for laughs or not, if we can ignore the lack of hands for characters in honeycomb because some characters would pass due to abusing cartoon logic then i don't see why we couldn't do the same for tug of war. And while it may be true that he doesn't have extraordinary levels of strenght (still more then most of the human characters here tho, he'd overpower the Eldorado guys pretty easilly for example) he's still fairly strong in his own right and has consistently proven to be a great leader and teamplayer, which is very important for tug of war.
@@robmacher3253 Honeycomb challenge required one to be clever and deft, which is something a smaller character can easily work around with; you could imagine Skipper licking the honeycomb, using his beak or claws. But in a game that relies so heavily on direct strength, even the greatest strategy can only take you so far (as we saw in the show). "Strong in his *own* right" won't be enough, so no Skipper could never overpower Miguel or Tulio in tug of war. No matter what tricks he pulls, the fact that he weighs only few dozens pounds means that even an average human could outdo him with one hand.
And before you point to the fact that there were other small-sized characters who made it trough, I'll counter your argument about being "a great leader and teamplayer": those skills help only if you manage to land into a decent team. But Skipper is actually proven to be quite irrational with his actions (examples given when asked) and not comfortable being in a team where he doesn't get to be in charge, as we saw in their spin-off film. All that added his small stature and lack of hands, he's not very convincing for players that aren't his usual group.
Granted, Ginger surviving is also a long shot. But she's more of an actual team player; more willing to put faith in others, rise up some realistic fighting spirit and she has fingers. She has a bit better chances to land in a strong team.
@@rase5994 Size doesn't always tell you everything about brute strenght, we see this plenty of times throughout Dreamworks' lineup of movies including the Madagaskar films. Remember how the old lady Nana was able to fight on par with and even overpower Alex (who himself is strong enough to lift Marty, Melman and Gloria at the same time and destroyed a telephone booth by tearing it off the pole that held it) throughout the first two movies? The penguins could overpower her and toss her away like it was nothing, Skipper is shown to be able to knock humans and bigger animals (such as the foosa) out with single hits and he's stated in the show to be able to wrestle gorillas and floor an elephant. While it is true that agillity does play a big part in his fighting style, said fighting style would be useless if he didn't have the raw strenght to harm these bigger opponents in the first place.
I had hoped that Hiccup would be a finalist in this scenario, but the reason for his elimination makes sense.
I gotta say too, regardless of the accuracy on whether Peabody would actually win, I'm sure that Puss would still put up a really good fight.

Seiya- being the most cautious of the entire game seiya would hold back and analyze his foes while also waiting for there to be only one left
Naegi- naegi has been average as to how he describes himself, but thanks to his mediocre abilities being just enough he found himself here, though he is smart and a good detective, we can't give him his powers as the ultimate hope to him
So with 5 very interesting combatants left, who wins? Well it should come as no surprise that the first to die is naegi
Despite his intelligence without his abilities as the ultimate hope, he doesn't stand much of a chance
Next will likely shock people but we have to let senku go to, despite his brains and being the smartest there, the other three are just surpior to him in combat and without his tech senku just isn't combat ready
Similarly we have to let go of Hajime here as well, while he isthe most skilled fighter of the remaining three, he just can't keep up with the two in the fact he's lacking his metal arm, his powers, and his guns, wothout those he's got human strength, abd would fall behind the other two who are naturally athletic
Now we are down to our final two, seiya is more skilled but unfourtunately we need to say goodbye to the cautious hero here, I just can't see him winning without his powers or weapons since Legoshi is smarter, stronger and faster, combine the with his claws and teeth and seiya is doomed

A lot of characters are going to pair up for this round leading to a lot of characters sacrificing themselves for their partner.
Eliminations:
18. Dipper - Dipper and Mabel would team up with Dipper being more likely to choose to be selfless and sacrifice himself for his sister.
19. Sheriff Blubs - Blubs and Durland would pair up for this game, and not surprising Blubs wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for his partner Durland wanting him to survive and have a chance at winning the prize money.
20. Grenda - Grenda would pair up with Candy and be the one to be selfless and put Candy over herself.
21. Soos - Soos is unlikely to want to put himself over others and be willing to give up his marbles for someone else.
22. Pacifica Northwest - Pacifica lacks manipulation skills and for the longest time was manipulated by her parents who controlled her and in one episode her father forced her into tricking Dipper into ridding them of the ghost so they can resume their party.
23. Ford Pines - Ford was manipulated by Bill Cipher before and his pride does get the best of him and its very likely to pair up with his brother Stan and despite their complicated past Ford is most likely be the one to choose to sacrifice himself for Stan.
Round 6 Glass Stepping Stones (7)
24. Stan Pines - Stan would want to go first being driven on winning the prize money that he would lose sight of coming up with a strategy and fall to his doom.
25. Bud Gleeful - Bud would want to get the game over with and go early and completely lack a strategy to get through the game.
26. Mabel - Mabel loses due to her eagerness always acting without thinking things through which would seal her faith.
27. Toby Determined - Toby would choose a middle of the road number and likely begin to panic under the pressure of having to choose the next step and likely pick the wrong step.
28. Deputy Durland - Durland is the last to fall, not having a strategy Durland would just head into the game and rely on luck to get him through only for his luck to run out.
As for the remaining players
Candy would be the one to choose to go last and observe the other players as they make their way across and carefully plan her moves.
Wendy is likely to want to go first but would be hesitant to do so and pick a middle or high number and rely on luck and likely try to grab onto the bridge in case the panel she steps on breaks.
Final Round Squid Game: Wendy vs Candy
In the final game between Wendy and Candy, Candy would likely be the last player to fall as Wendy is skilled in combat unlike Candy, so the Gravity Falls winner is Wendy.

Normally I tend to agree with most of the decisions in these but there is no way I could see Peabody beating Puss in a fight to the death. Don't forget that Puss is the BEST assassin in Far Far Away, sure he may not have his signature weapon with him but both combatants in the show snuck steak knives in with them and such a shrewd and cunning fighter like Puss likely would have improvised a weapon even sooner. But regardless of weapons Puss is a paid assassin and while Peabody might have an impressive bite and a greater intellect he is nowhere near on the same level of combat experience as Puss, not only would he beat Peabody but it wouldn't even be close.
I gotta agree with ya Puss would have the higher chance of winning but they did say that Peabody is smarter than Puss which is true but Puss uses his swords more than his claws and we don’t see Puss use his claws that much and due to the fact Puss already won a squid game that can be a reason for Peabody to win.

@@DavidRay_40 this is true 99.9999% of the time however this is an exception. Being incredibly smart allows you to use your surroundings, in a long term fight you can always plan ahead and set up traps, you can build valuable tools and trick your opponents, however in a single one vs one short quick battle in a flat landscape, strength is just a little stronger.

Yay, after doing the Animated Movie Companies, Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar, and Sony Animation Villain Squid Games, They finally did a Hero Squid game for one of them, this one being Dreamworks. Since the Squid game Animated Movie Companies are still at a score of 4 Villain squid games vs 1 Hero squid game, they should make more Hero Squid Games, like maybe Disney, Pixar and Sony Animation Hero Squid Games, seperately of course. And maybe they could also do which Blue Sky Hero would win their Squid game.

I've been trying to figure out which family guy character would win squid game. So far, my best guess is Lois, if she can keep her ego in check. Tempted to say Meg dies in red light green light, but I can see her making it up to marbles, glass bridge if there's an odd amount of people left from tug of war
Maybe The Last Wish is skewing my perception a bit (unfortunate that this video was released before that movie came out), but I definitely have to give the edge to Puss in that final duel. Not to discredit Peabody in the slightest, but Puss's athleticism and combat prowess are just too much. It doesn't matter how smart you are when your throat is being torn open. Peabody doesn't have the means to invent a solution to this problem, nor does he have the time to do it even if he does have the tools. Puss is much better at unarmed combat and improvisation, which are the key advantages needed for this scenario.

I was going to say I disagree with Peabody being that cutthroat, but then this is a Dreamworks Heroes challenge, and Dreamworks has the odd additional thing that’s not official but is a recurring theme: What they’re fighting for. Many times, they’ll give up but come through because of their beliefs or for a loved one. Puss would be fighting for the glory and money, but Peabody’s main goal would probably be to get home to see Sherman again.
While this isn’t an official “skill” that would typically be considered, I think it’s fair to assume that in more opposing duels, that they may have talked about what they would leave the games to go home to, leading to some sacrificing themselves not just because they don’t want to take another’s life, but also because they would want to give someone the chance to go back to their family and loved ones, such as Puss allowing Peabody to win so he can return to Sherman.
I had a feeling Spitit wouldn't make it past the Honeycomb challenge. His speed would help in the first round, but not the next one.

The ant should have made it through to marbles at least! Even if he wasn't strong in comparison to other ants, ants are still insanely strong for their size! So if you scaled up his size he would have been incredibly strong! And with an exo skeleton he probably wouldn't have taken much damage in the brawl.
TBF if you scaled up an ant they would die due to their body not being able to absorb enough oxygen to sustain the relatively massive size. That's why there used to be massive insects and inveraberates during the Carboniferous period such as the Meganeura and Odonatoptera that no longer exist.

Tug of War: With the ants size, he wouldn’t be able to touch or reach the rope…he can jump but it would probably not be enough.
The brawl challenge: Again with his size, someone could easily squish him either intentionally or unknowingly….it depends if the ant is attempting to fight someone or someone is fighting someone else and they are moving at a fast pace.
