- hello friends! welcome to my third youtube video. i decided to change things up today and make a video about one of my passive income sources, redbubble, after hitting the one-month mark of selling recently. more book//writing related content is to come, but i thought this video would be a great one to share with people like me who are always seeking new sources of income and ways to be creative. enjoy the video!!

Everyone who has a Standard account redbubble will have their account closed sooner or later. Redbubble deletes accounts for no reason, so do not waste your time

Nicet to hear it is possible to make money on rb. I sold 3 stickers and got closed after 5 months. Tried to learn why but dont think they have resourses to reveal the issue.

Great job on your first month! Very cool to be making sales with 40+ products. And your phrasing and font choices are great too. On the shop banner, the font makes it look like it says "through boofs and shifting". Does that say books or is the font weird?

Hi Fiona. Can you please say how long it took for your products to show in your shop after you uploaded your designs? How long was the review process on Redbubble's end before they allowed the products to show in your store ?
Thank you for being so honest, I'm a bit late but I found this video because I also started out on Redbubble. I have a question: do you leave your product preview on optimized, which is recommended, or do you pick one you think it's most suitable for? Most people don't seem to be talking about it...
I only change it for mugs!

@@christinenjogu I was referring to which item your design will be displayed on when people visit your store. Which is on "optimized" by default.

what is "to be paid" under status column? Do you not instantly get the money?
money is paid out on the 15th of every month, so no, you don’t get it instantly, if that’s what you mean. to be paid money under the payment section is money on pending sales (not shipped I believe) so the customer could still withdraw the purchase.
Hi Fiona, thanks for sharing your story and your store, very inspiring! Your store page says it was created in 2021, so not sure how it was the first month's results in 2023? Did you just sign up not do anything with it for two years? I think this might have something to do with you having sales in the "first month" while most people don't - RedBubble likely didn't treat your account as new.
Sorry, posted this before finishing the video, and then heard you explain! I didn't realize you can have the same account for selling and buying on RB, interesting.

"I was charged an insane amount for shipping" - The shipping cost is always visible before you pay, or at least after you have paid so you can e-mail an cancel your order. If you think the shipping is insane, you should have shopped at another Print-On-Demand competitor.

no definitely not that much for me. I say in the video the revenue vs costs and how that equals my profit. it’s up to you if the profit is enough and you can always increase margins!

Im sorry, but if you need pay for everything you need (like merch titans, canva, redbubble fees asf) before you even have started to get sales it is a hopeless endevour.
