you've inspired me to vlog my writing journey so thank you!! I'm not sure if you said it in this video or another one but you're so right that it's okay to share your plot ideas!! It is so fun to hear about from other writers and even if someone does have a similar plot the execution will always be so different from the posters !

Reading a story about a girl who's got a ghost without technically being dead is something I've never encountered before while reading and I find that especially intriguing about your idea! Also, sharing snippets and ideas like you do makes videos like yours so much more interesting. I think a lot of authors here on TH-cam don't share anything at all not only bc they think the book turns out to be different in the end but maybe bc they're afraid someone could steal from them? I hope you'll never be afraid of sharing tho, there will be so many others like me who just enjoy listening to you while writing themselves 🖤 (Btw sorry for my English I'm not native)

Your idea gave me an idea. Would it be OK if I used the idea of the suicidal girl that goes to the graveyard and meets her own ghost. My story would be her ghost shows her the consequences of her making that decision. I wouldn't publish it, and I probably wouldn't finish it, but I would like to try to write that story.

Regarding the nanowrimo controversy, there was also grooming, predatory and bullying allegations. AI isn't the only reason why people are dropping them. I get re-naming nanowrimo "November writing challenge" bc ppl are used to doing nano every year but don't wanna promote nanowrimo.

I love this. It's like sitting with a friend and listening to their Ideas. I feel so weird admiring this, but sometimes, when my daughter isn't available to go over a story idea or it's something I know she won't like. I sit in my room and talk like there is someone sitting there with me to get my ideas out.
