    I thought the factories would have had something like this years ago for endurance testing (leave it on overnight to run engines up, and record the results).

    @TheTuningSchool This is dope. Im an electrical engineer with experience in AI and Deep Learning. If you guys are willing to share, I’d be willing to offer help with development. Willing to sign an NDA or whatever.

    Ok it learns but how does it apply from an OBD perspective would the ANN,s purpose is to optimize air fuel ratio under same conditions it has previously encountered I'm a little confused would a ANN be on an ASE test I didn't see anything about ANN i understand what a computer is ,an input output devise so we have this learning network above that platform ?¿??????????

    So the 02 4200 trailblaer that comes with a p10 pcm is considered what a gen 3 4 and hasnthe neural network correct ? From that little i see via my mpvi2 pro w/prolink ?

    The ANN on HP tuners cost $50 to use but is only good for 30 days...WHY only 30days????? I'm a new tuner learning and have a dodge that is heavily modified...so I will need more than 30 days...just sayin

    Dude your 👂 is bright red. This usually means you r sensitive to something in your environment. Hope it's not chemicals or fumes or anything dangerous. I'm more than likely wrong but just wanted to say something just incase

    All worthless and shallow. A genuine ANN is built to adapt. Manufacturers are screwing around with more ways to make things even more proprietary. So what.
    Pull the factory brain and get busy. Any real tuner laughs at this type of fear mongering based on miss-information. There are so many aftermarket ecms it makes this crap a joke. And it will be about 5 seconds and an ANN will be available without all kinds of factory crippling.
    Please.

    • @BobRocket78

      Hopefully not all worthless and shallow, but nonetheless thanks for the feedback! This is not meant as fear mongering, just an answer to what people are asking; and like it or not, this is the reality. We're looking forward to the challenge, and not everyone "pulls the factory brain"... in fact, most don't. At MOST, I could see systems developed to work in parallel with the factory ECM's. Although I won't disagree with your statement that the manufacturers are working to make things more proprietary. Thanks for posting!

    • @moesizlac2596
      @moesizlac2596 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BobRocket78 So forget about the proprietary part, a manufacturer puts out an ANN with limits, upper and lower thresholds that stop the ANN from adapting beyond a certain point. Those would have to be coded hard points (like a table). Problem solved. But if there really is no table and it's all just ANN then it will just keep adapting.
      The only way around this logic is some sort of proprietary hardware crap. This is why your video is worthless. Not because manufacturers do annoying crap, but because you are not presenting a logically coherent view.
      If an ANN is really just better (more finely graded "table") then it will have no limits; so bolt something on and let it learn. If it just can't learn, and there's nothing to adjust, then the only logical conclusion is that the manufacturer has sabotaged it (put in hardware black box limits).
      The point is a tuner will dig in until they either get what they want or they will pull the brain and go old school or full aftermarket.
      This fact (about tuners) means your video is too shallow to be of any use to them. And for anyone who isn't a tuner all this video does is scare them into thinking it's getting too hard to do mods.
      Kinda totally worthless fear mongering.

    • @BobRocket78
      @BobRocket78 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Moe Sizlac no fear mongering here... just laying out the facts as requested by viewers so the aftermarket can do what it does best - solve issues like this. I’ll agree to disagree that the video is “worthless”, because it certainly sparked a conversation here with you... and you outlined several solutions. Purpose of video accomplished. :)

      Nobody requested a video with no actual information aimed at nobody.
      You are about as helpful here as a contractor clucking his tongue and writing up a massive repair estimate for a leaky tap.
      And I guess you show your true colors when all you care about is someone posting comments.
      Worthless and unwilling to understand why.

      Seems like Moe can't understand so he has to mock and downplay. Typical and sad. Bob is lightyears ahead of most others out there and by far has a better understanding than Moe. Dont be shallow and afraid like Moe ;-) Its not skynet dude no need to be afraid.
