When I follow this with an object (not an animated character) the particle system stays in place and does not follow the object when it is animated. How should it be bound to the object?

As long as Dynamic is checked, it should work.

I like this video, it is as informative as ever. Your conciseness is great for explaining related things in a short amount if time, and it works across subjects, but I wonder... have you considered also doing longer videos? Taking a topic, like this one, and doing a 5 or 10 minute tutorial, but going more in depth? I think your very watchable style, coupled with the scripted, edited format could provide a type of tutorial which is otherwise missing.

Perhaps you can help me? How to fix the problem: Hair particles go outside of another mesh.. Mesh collisions, hair dynamics, and kill particles do not solve the problem. Perhaps I am setting something wrong.
