There are glow squid. They’re called firefly squid and they will use their light to find mates or attract prey. The problem is that they only live for a single year.

Didn't glow squids have a sort of hypnotic ability in their trailer?
Maybe they will be able to mesmerize mobs (and players) to lure them into their grasp.
Here in the Philippines we have many of them near bakawan forests but as time passes by, they started disappearing year by year

So close to New Zealand, do one of our nation's iconic animals... you've yet to do any from this little island nation at the bottom of the world.
I got to see them in Waitomo, New Zealand, but for their safety's sake, we weren't allowed to take pictures. It woould've been nice, but I get it.

@@krimativity8526 a lot of places aren't allowing photos if the animals are at risk for poachers. The metadata of the photo can contain location info.

Note: don't snuggle with them. That would be a BAD idea. They are not the Glo Worm, the stuffed toy for young children.
I understood that reference, and now i feel old.
My mother-in-law and I went to the Glowworm Caves at Lake Te Anau in New Zealand. It was such an insane experience, floating in a tiny boat and gripping our hands like a vice. It was our first real bonding experience.

Legend has it that in the past these glow worms used to hunt human as well. Some of them escaped though and to this day they carry the snares on their necks. A quick search in the Google images with the words "Elderly Lady" will provide enough evidence to this legend.
