Yeah, no. This is basically late 90s Psy Trance and that 303 lead is Acid Trance - esque. Yes Techno is the mother of Psy and many other sub genres but you're just gonna annoy techno heads with that title.
You may be right captainkaput but the most common rolling techno baseline is 1/16 rhythm. And I didn't mention it in the vid but this wasn't a "textbook" techno tutorial I was making more of a big room techno style song.
@@GazillionBeats How can you say I may be right and then go on to repeat the same thing? Take it from someone whose been in these genres for decades. Typical Techno has a "huffing and breathing" bassline (sidechain compression) between the kicks. The "rolling" baseline is the genre defining characteristic of Psy Trance. Obviously there are overlaps but what you are demonstrating in this video is without a doubt closer to Psy than Techno.
Man AI is gonna take music production to the next level 😮
I loove this acid Hard Tekno.. makes me think of the tunnel trance days!!
Dude your videos have actually taught me a lot. Can’t wait to see more from you
I like the simplicity of this tutorial.you just got a new subscriber. Keep it up!

That type of Techno you'll hear at carnival attractions/ride's over here (Belgium) 😄 I mean, it has its place but if i hear this in a club i'm out
Typical Big Room stuff with some acid elements... Boring as fck...
That's not a Techno bassline. It's a textbook PsyTrance Bassline.
The most common Techno bassline is 3rd beat of every bar.
