This was his best season in my opinion. That last major injury, which I believe was his quad injury, was the injury that took most of his speed away. He hasn’t been the same since. It’s amazing that a player like him, that plays like him could last as long as he did. He was rolling, and so were the Rockets and then the pandemic happened. Maybe they win, maybe they don’t. But that version of Westbrook was the best. Incredible that he played at a high level for about 12 years playing that way.
bro fr this was litterally his best season like he avg 27ppg his 3rd high scoring avg, and 30 ppg before that, he old dropped to 27 because of injury, he was insane definitely one of the best version of westbrook scoring wise for sure

Russel never disappoints. Even when he's bricking, his energy and hustle is often enough for me to be happy with his game. I really despise Hardens game but I really root for the Rockets just cause of Westbrook. I 'd like to see that man get a ring.

The boy and the Mistake they are healed now apart form maybe his thumb where he sprained a couple games ago but people were bashing his shooting and then his fingers heal and he shoots like this
The boy and the Mistake actually the fingers are what was causing his shooting problems earlier in the season while everyone was piling on him EVEN THOUGH it was obvious his hand was wrapped. His stats and efficiency rose dramatically as soon as his fingers healed.....

They just unloaded a huge contract,any center can play with these guys at a third of the price.
Drae Nelson exactly all capela did was catch lobs.
I'm not sure Capela always fit in to what the team ultimately wanted to do, I will definitely miss his rebounding and rim presence. Although on offense he was limited as most of his points came off lob passes and passes down low to him in the paint, he really had no post game to speak of. Atlanta is probably a better fit for him.
the man houston never really played capela in the playoffs in the 4th quarter it was a good trade. Houston can get a center via buyout market
@@jptrece8890 a guy like Joakim Noah would be nice. He is a big body who can guard AD, Jokic, Gobert etc., he can give you 15 solid minutes and he can defend and rebound inside. We still can play small ball but it will not work all the time playing it 48 minutes. GSW had Zaza, McGee and West when they were playing small ball. You need to have some size.

All Houston needs is a big body to throw at AD, Jokic, Gobert and every other big guy, who can give you 15-17 minutes. They can play small ball but it will not work all the time playing 48 minutes. When GSW were playing small ball they still had bigs like McGee, Zaza and West off the bench. Get a guy like Joakim Noah.
This Westbrook seems to have a lot higher basketball IQ than OKC Westbrook. He’s clearly maturing. Like, look at 0:41. In most situations he probably would have put up a bad mid range jumper, but now he’s utilizing his superstar finishing skills more. He’s playing much more efficiently while still putting up incredible rebounding and assist numbers.
