@@chasestacks7792 collision was the starter pg both of his seasons there. He might have spelled him when he was off the floor, but when he came back on, brodie slid back over to the 2. Thunder were bad and had a solid vet in Earl Watson but the other points were an old hurt Chucky Atkins and Shaun Livingston who was trying to figure it out after his knee exploded like two years prior. They had no choice but to put him in the position. He was decent and I’m speculating they were of the mindset, that since they couldn’t get D.Rose in the draft, they could make Westbrook a slightly worse version of him. Nothing about his dynamism changes being a 2 guard, but what it does is free him off the responsibilities of running the offense. At the 2 he doesn’t have to make decisions on who gets the ball and ultimately choosing himself more times than not, over people who might have better matchups. They wouldn’t be looking for him to make plays for others. Also, If you look at his career historically, teams eventually realize regardless of his gaudy numbers, they can’t trust him to run point when it matters. Outside of fastbreak, or drive and kick opportunities, they’ll put in a higher basketball iq guard in when it’s time to execute in the half court. Harden, Reggie Jackson, Dj Augustine, Rockets’ Harden, Raul Neto. With the Lakers they give it to LeBron, and Westbrook can’t capitalize because they have nos spacing in their late lineups
