Not a doctor, I'm a neuro nurse. Don't stress out that the meds might not be working since you had a bad week. Sometimes, it takes a couple weeks for meds to be therapeutic. Keep the faith they will work and stay strong....you got this, happy new year to your entire family. May this next year bring you the answers you've been looking for and the strength to endure.

Yes the parents did a great job raising the kids all Soo close. Carlin's family is the best also the dad is awesome(Carlin's dad). I don't know them personally sounds like a great family.
Yes, I’m so envious of their wonderful family on both sides. I’m an only child, and never really had that kind of experience. My paternal side of the family weren’t great and have a lot of personal and abusive issues (and I no longer have any contact with them), and my mother’s side there are very few family members left. The only family I really have in my life is my mother, my great aunt and great uncle. That’s it. But I feel blessed to at least have them, and have a wonderful and beautiful close relationships with them. I thank God for them daily. And it’s terrifying to know that nobody is getting any younger.
Seeing big loving families like theirs is bittersweet. I’m so happy for them though, and I’m also grateful that they do share these family moments with all of us, so that those like me sort of get to experience that kind of a family through their videos. Even if it’s just through video and even though I don’t know them, you can absolutely still feel the warmth and love that are so clearly present when they gather together. I think they do, but I hope they know how truly blessed and lucky they are, and don’t take any of it for granted.

Our son has epilepsy and he has breakthrough activity when he is overtired or has too much sugar. We make sure to be very consistent with when he gets his meds, keeping a consistent bedtime and limiting his sugar intake. The holidays are always tricky with all the traveling, treats, and stress but we try to stay consistent. People with epilepsy can have different triggers but regular sleep and avoiding too much sugar is helpful for everyone. Do you keep a journal? It helps to see patterns that you might not otherwise notice. Continued prayers for Carlin and the whole family 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hey Evan, next time you help with removing old wallpaper, get a circular paper scraper ( from the hardware store), and an empty spray bottle filled with hot water and Downey fabric softener ( like 1/2 and 1/2). Use the round scraper to go over the wall and then spray the softener on the wall. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and they try to scrape off the paper. The heat and the fabric softener will help the scraped bits and it will be much easier to take down. Do this several times BUT make sure the water is HOT. My cousin told me this and it still takes time but it does help tremendously!!! Sooo glad both of you are helping your parents!! It was sooo very sweet of you. 💕💕💕

It’s the new spin on the old digital picture frame but everyone in the family can download the app and send photos directly to the frame. I have a chronic illness and usually crash at some point due to over exertion from all the festivities and planning. Don’t beat yourself up when you have an episode or need to rest.
