6 months qual service is required. this is basic rule. So if pay fixation is done on 01 Jul it would be 01 jan next year and if it is 01 Jan then DNI would be 01 Jul

The query is- What benefit will be applicable to a central government employee upon regular promotion in case he had got his MACP in GP 2800 (which is not in his promotional channel) in 2009 (6th CPC) and thereafter , in 7th CPC, his regular promotion took place in GP 4200/L-6 in 2017. Shall difference of grade pay @ 1400 be permissible to him as per MACP ruling upon regular promotion or he shall be given one increment or only level will be changed? Please note regular promotion occurred in 2017

Is there provision in recruitment rules of your organisation to count Apprentice service for increment. in most of organisation Apprentice service not counted for granting increment
Sir I have question would be great full to you if u help I was due for promotion in month of March 2020 but due to penalty of stoppage of increment without cumulative effect it was put on hold and rest of the panel was given promotion on March 2020, now that penalty got over on 30 June 2020 and from 1 July 2020 I got regular increment but due to covid period, even though my penalty was over on 30 June 2020,I was given promotion date in month of Nov 2020. Is this correct? If not from which date I should get promotion? Also I have completed mandatory 2 years of service in previous grade long back so period of service for promotion is not an issue. Kindly help me
Generally promotion is effective from dt of assumption of charge of higher post. But you case is exceptional and might be your office was not in a position to conduct DPC for your case. You can ask for special dispensation and request for notional date of promotion w.e.f 01 jul 2020. Might be they agree. Best of Luck for that

Sir, i got 1st MACP during 1.9.2009, my GP raised from 2400 to 2800 and pay fixed. Then i got my promotion on 31.12.2016, and my pay was fixed to 46,200/-. Now i have been told that no increment can be given, the basic price is fixed thats all. i.e. i was drawing 41,100/- after promotion its 44,900/-. Is this calculation correct sir, as my grade pay is 4200 now, should i get one increment or will the basic be same now. please clarify.

Yes Sir, that is clear. But as per OM dated 22.10.2019 Consolidated guidelines regarding MACP, Annexure I Para 4(iii), such employees have an option to get fixation done either on date of promotion or DNI. Earlier there was no option and only the difference in grade pay was given. Now, if an employee opt to fix pay w.e.f. the date of next increment, whether he will be eligible for 1st increment after six months? There will not be any increment for promotion. But if he opt to fix pay in the new level from the date of next increment, whether he will be eligible for first increment thereafter on completion of six months? That is my doubt. Or such an increment in six month is only applicable at the time of MACP he got? If that is the case, what may be the purpose of giving the facility of option to such employees? Kindly clarify Sir. Thank you so much for your guidance. Facility of option given now is created doubt. Some offices have allowed first increment to their employees after completion of six months from DNI without giving any increment for promotion. That is why I raised the matter. Thank you Sir.
Sameer trikha's pay as on 01.07.2021 is same in both the cases i.e. DNI and date of promotion. But I understand that it all depends on case to case. Anyways video is quite useful.👍
Benefit is if she opt for jul Fixation she will get her next increment in Jan 2022 however in other case she ll loose. However thank you for your keen observation. My objective of making this video is achieved as You and other viewers understand how it works :-)

jisse promotion ho raha hai uss Level mei. Means if promotion is from ASO(level 07) se So(level 08) mei ho raha hai to Level 7 mei

6 months qual service is required. this is basic rule. So if pay fixation is done on 01 Jul it would be 01

L-4 mei 2 increment dene k baad bhi aapka L-6 cross nahi hoga to aapka pay L-6 ke minimum means 35400 pe fix hoga. date of increment Jul 22 hoga

Most likely which is beneficial to GS but if you have crossed minimum of MACP pay level then Fixation from dt of MACP is more beneficial in General

If you got MACP first and Promotion later. no increment on Promotion. Only one increment at time of MACP only
