The video was absolutely amazing and we sincerely appreciate your time and effort obtaining this footage and more specifically sharing it for us to enjoy! Cheers!
I’ve always liked that area in and around Flagstaff, especially when there is snow on the ground. The Grand Canyon is also a sight to behold when there is snow on the ground.
WOW , great scenery! now that the Mrs. is retired and we go to places I used to see from the road when I still drove for a living, she’s starting to get why we stay on the two lane.
That was splendid, I'm glad I got that whole freight train comn up on that curve, jus nice, keep up the great work, thanks you for u for sharing this, in that cold weather,👍👍👍Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
Totally beautiful, thanks for sharing this view with us. My 27" screen makes it almost like being there, just no crisp cold (I can remember that okay from living in Canada though. =) I'm in Palmerston North, New Zealand, 'used to work for Toll Rail in Wellington NZ briefly as a technical writer, commuted to Wellington by train two hours Mon an Fri. 'Love trains. If you haven't yet watched the Stobie the hobo videos here in TH-cam, they're great fun. He jumped on trains, did documentaries of the life (before getting killed by one by accident.). Scenery, constant beer, commentary, noise, adventures, 'bull' cops.
I seen this was in seligman, i once along time ago, worked around that area, all the way from oatman into ashfork along route 66, i think about that area daily, and it has been 25 years since i worked in those parts, a friend who grew up in ashfork use to tell me how, before they were caught, would jump on the trains in ashfork, and apparantly there is a 10 mph curve out side of seligman, that they could desimbark there, not to long of a ride, just long enough to get accessories unbolted from new trucks and then tossed over, for the guy drivng would pick them up, i guess they got caught by not jumping when the train slowed down, they got a free ride all the way into L.A., ..now that ride was too long
A beautifully amazing video. Just one small detraction. Why does the film make the trains jerk along? Have a great Christmas and New Year. Regards. Mick🇬🇧
Shot at frame rate your equipment doesn't support natively. The problem isn't the film. Apparently 30 and 60 fps are standard for the U.S. and 25 and 50 fps is for the UK. Ever heard of a thing called a pull down. Where some equipment trys to make video shot at an incompatible frame rate match one it supports? That kind of thing happens when it does that conversion. Trust me, what you are seeing, I am not.
Thanks for that. Not very technically minded I’m afraid so not sure I understand. However, this is the only one of your videos that does it so I’m not worried. Just had me wondering why. Really enjoy your videos. Have a great New Year. Regards. Mick🇬🇧
Sean Hoyt no it’s TH-cam for some reason makes it jumpy. It bugs me too but haven’t figured out how/why I can’t fix it. My older videos didn’t do this.
Sean Hoyt what’s strange is the video file on my computer doesn’t do it, only here on TH-cam. Maybe TH-cam is 24fps? I export at 29.97 FPS usually. Maybe I can try an even 30 for my next video.
Super video my friend! very nice view. Thnak you for sharing! Greeting from Vietnam.
Oh, brrrr it looks cold! A beautiful, sunny, snow covered day watching brightly colored trains go by. Can't get much better.
The United States of America and its wonderful landscapes. Awesome video. Thank you!
Great video Jake! Love the Seligman and Peavine videos. The sunset route is cool and all...but these scenes are definitely my favorite.
Fantastic video sir!! Incredible shots and catches sir!! Keep up the great work sir!!
Another great train video. And Arizona with snow. Much appreciated.
Snow has an amazing sound muffling suppression characteristic. The only thing you hear is is the equipment. One does not think of snow in Arizona.
Actually in deserts it can get to over 90+ during the day and almost FREEZING at night... during the summer, that is!
The video was absolutely amazing and we sincerely appreciate your time and effort obtaining this footage and more specifically sharing it for us to enjoy! Cheers!
Stunning! Lighting, location and composition are awesome. Thanks for getting out in the snow to shoot these...simply beautiful!!
Fantastic video - have to say the best I have seen on location this year.
It's amazing how much the snow changes the appearance of the landscape. Excellent work.
Excellent. Was out in that exact area 10 years ago. Thanks for sharing.

Fabulous.horn tooting blended well with desolate but beautiful surrounding.

Extraordinary footage in winter time, subscriber from Thailand.
Excellent footage my friend, keep up the good work
At 22:45 the container doors are open, they were definitely a victim of a container robbery.
Nice shooting, the video quality is stunning!
Amtrak 158?!?! That is an East coast service from DC to NY, according to the web site.
This note may be superfluous but 158 was the loco number.

I’ve never seen a NS consist on this sub before. How comes?
Enjoyed🇺🇸🎅🎄👍
Nice Mate..
How many bnsf run daily here ? Around on
What camera did you use to film the video with?
You doing a frame rate conversion that’s making the footage drop frames?
Sean Hoyt no it’s TH-cam for some reason makes it jumpy. It bugs me too but haven’t figured out how/why I can’t fix it. My older videos didn’t do this.
PHX Sub Railfanner seems to be jumping slightly every second. I see this when down-converting from 30p to a 24p timeline or similar.

Ship freight by snailpace. Americas railroads.
Sweet as. Ti.
Looks like JB Hunt is making money,he just has to pay the RR to haul his containers
Those jokers certainly know how to move rail freight
HEY WHAT'S IN ALL THOSE TANK CARS? IT LOOKS JUST LIKE WHEN I CAME OUT WITH MY MOM FROM CHICAGO IN 1944.
um
Chinese stuff headin' east.
